I remember that some posts in LRTV had less than 5 views. Some shows literally had 4 views and one of them was me who wanted to see if everything was alright. I don't know the average viewership of LRF content, but I suspect that was below average Thankfully Scalped had more views than that - but not by much for some of the episodes (which definitely brought down the average viewership for the series as a whole). I think having it on the main blog versus a new blog certainly helps avoid lows like that, but I was at least expecting episodes to be in the ball park of some of the lower viewed posts (and pilot episodes more than that).

I'll say that I was a fan of Scalped and hope that we have more to come! As for my own show debuting tonight, I'm hoping you at least check out the pilot and see if you'd like to continue forward. The show's seven episodes are each essentially one day, which I hope helps keep the plot moving forward at a brisk pace. I'm really happy I was able to land the duo of Kravitz and Holbrook (especially after the latter's performance as The Corinthian in Netflix's Sandman). While Ducournau might've been a surprising choice (I did consider seeing if Bigelow would come back to produce), I think she has some of the most visually intriguing genre work going right now and look forward to what she does next. Why did I adapt Strange Days--a pretty forgotten box office bomb from nearly 30 years ago? I think that's the exact type of IP that should be explored, ones that compelling ideas or concepts but failed to deliver in some way (instead of remaking a product that already got close to perfect). And I'm just a fan of technoir sleaze and something like that would probably flop if I tried it for LRF so the TV route felt like an interesting road to take. |

Additionally, I would really appreciate if any returning show would also fill it out. You can simply type in "RENEWAL" into the boxes for the pilot script, but the rest of the sections would simply apply to the show's second season. This would help me out by making all of the information for each show more uniform (and thus easier for me to navigate on the studio end). Thanks.
