More information will be given at the TV Preview, but I figured I would at least list the ten series that will make up the inaugural season so that the writers know where their series are at.... Scalped Strange Days Misfits See You At The Track! Silent Hill American High School Hollow Life With Barney Can You Hear Me? Sisco
That is also the tentative order they will be released in, though that could change. The final order will be revealed at the TV preview.
If you submitted a series and it is not on that list, it is earmarked for future seasons. While one series will be automatically cancelled by the studio, it is always possible that writers may need a break before tackling a second season and such.

Will writers know in advance if their series is renewed, or will they learn it at the end of season like everyone else?

I'm still thinking on that. Obviously I want to give the writers as much notice as possible to begin plotting out additional seasons and such. One idea I had would be during the mid-season TV preview/review post to indicate which series (that have already been released) are safe and which are on the bubble (and could be potential cancellation victims). That way there is still a bit of an element of surprise.

Sounds good! How does it work to pitch a new series for future seasons ? Do we still have to send all episodes to get a slot ?

Yes, it will work exactly the same way because that is really the only way I can guarantee I'll have all the episodes on time (so I can avoid some of the issues you had with LRTV).

Here is what I am thinking....
I will contact each writer that has a TV series scheduled for next season (before Season 24 begins) to see if they even want to bring it back for a second run in Season 25. However, one series will be cancelled by the studio for "low performance" every season, even if some other writers decide to end their shows.
I'm thinking that in the mid-season post, I can announce 3 of the 5 that are officially safe and have the greenlight for a second season, with 2 being left "on the bubble" until the end of the season when all of the numbers are announced. Those 3 writers would at least know for sure that they can continue writing. Shows that debut in the first half of a season will always stay there (that way it seems fair since I will probably give a different deadline to returning second half tv series for when their episodes are due).

I have spent a lot of time figuring out the best way to post the upcoming episodes of LRF NOW Original series. Here is what I came up with (along with a visual aid).... Each episode will technically be their own blog post as you can see in the image below. They will all be posted at the same time in the order they are supposed to appear (I believe I have that figured out, though if there are issues, I will tackle them on Monday morning when they are released). The first post will contain links to all of the episodes, or you can just keep scrolling in order (or use the blog archive links on the right sidebar if you're viewing on a computer). I haven't decided yet how the series will look on the database yet (I'm leaning toward just having links to the blog posted on the database to make less work for me). Not all talents will have database pages, since that would obviously be way too much work with Weebly (which looks nicer, but takes longer to create/edit pages than on the old Google site). I'm leaning toward just Executive Producers and starring/regular cast members currently.

Also, it is not too early to start submitting shows for the next season. While some shows may be cancelled, others may opt to take a season off before their second season, and some writers may opt to end their own show after just one season - so there are some open slots for the second season (Season 25). Just refer to the first message in this thread for directions.

Love the use of Wes Studi in Scalped. I’ve been wanting to see A Love Song, a rare leading role for him (and Dale Dickey).

Some people have been wondering how the ratings will be done, so I figured I would give a bit of information now that we're winding down on the first round of Season 24. There will be three important numbers involved in figuring out a show's "ratings".... - Viewership. This number will be the average number of actual views the series receives on the blog in the first week of release. - Metascore. - The third figure involved will be the ratings scoring system I helped Mo with back in the LRTV days. It consisted of rating a show in the following categories: Genre appeal, star appeal, character appeal, Prestige, Budget, Executive Producer appeal, Audience/Demographic appeal, etc.
Once I have all the data for Scalped I will post the ratings here on the board so that people will have a basic idea of what the ratings will look like.

I have made a Google Form to make the pilot submission process a little more streamlined. So be sure to go to this link to submit your LRF NOW ORIGINAL SERIES.... docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSchTmskPnJQqyh1clZeGA_GwJ875lPiopruwj-ImkSoozOlXQ/viewform?usp=sf_linkAs I mentioned previously, I will give the ratings process for Scalped so that people know how it will work.... CRITICAL SCORE - The pilot Metascore was 77 and the end of season Metascore was 72. I took the average of those two scores (74.5) and divided it by 10. So the first figure used to determine the ratings for Scalped is 7.5. VIEWERSHIP SCORE - When streaming services talk about viewership, it seems they usually talk about "minutes watched" or how many people watched at least a certain amount of something. I decided to simply add up the views of each episode and divide it by number of episodes. The viewership score is 6.4. CONTENT SCORE - Finally, the third figure is based rating other factors: Genre Appeal (7.5), Star Appeal (6.5), Character Appeal (6), Executive Producer Appeal (6), Genre Elements (8), Budget (6), Demographic (7), Watercooler Moments (5). Those average out to a score of 6.5. So we end up with 7.5 + 6.4 + 6.5 = 20.4. Then 20.4 / 3 = 6.8 Scalped finishes its first season with a rating of 6.8. We'll have to wait and see how that compares to other series as the season goes on. I want to say something about viewership real quick.... LRF NOW Original Series episodes are going to need to get more views than this if it is going to be a regular every season type of thing. More people bugged me in messages over the past couple years since LRTV folded than actually viewed every episode of Scalped, which I found to be very disappointing. I feel like my expectations were pretty conservative/modest, but they were not met with this first offering. Hopefully more people will tune in to both past and future episodes of the LRF NOW Original Series offerings. Over the years, certain posts have historically always had lower views than the main film posts (Top 10, On Location and Premiere Magazine Covers are always toward the bottom each round), but they still get over double the views that our first LRF series got. Speaking of LRF NOW Original Series, be sure to check out the first season of Strange Days tonight (in 90 minutes)!

I remember that some posts in LRTV had less than 5 views. Some shows literally had 4 views and one of them was me who wanted to see if everything was alright. I don't know the average viewership of LRF content, but I suspect that was below average
