Up Next is best comedy / musical. The actors from last seasons No Laughing Matter, Glenn Howerton, Steve Buscemi and Jason Bateman, are here to present the award. The three of them make the audience laugh with hilarious jokes and begin reading the nominees, while giving the audience the synopsis of the films. Pulp, Kylie Dates New York City, The Hit Maker and Natasha, Pierre and The Great Comet of 1812. As they are about to read the winner, Howerton says that it must be a coincidence that the only film that says F*** repeatedly wins this award. The winner is PULP. John Malone, Jimmy Ellis and Guy Ritchie come up to accept this award.

He also says that the Comic Con will be back at the start of next season to showcase the upcoming films from the studio. After reading the nominees, Dolan congratulates APJ on winning this award for Green Lantern Corps. Both APJ & Christopher McQuarrie accept this award.

Both Elizabeth Olsen and George Mackay approach the stage as they present the Ledger. They begin by saying that all these talented people have had success in LRF, but none more so than Alden Ehrenreich. They praise his work, but say that this award will not be going to him. They instead say that Florence Pugh is in fact the winner of this award for her comedic work in Pulp. She in fact won by 5 votes over Elle Fanning. With Shia LaBeouf and Alden Ehrenreich only falling just behind.

The second to last award is the Best Drama award. This award came down to the wire between two of its nominees with only 1 votes separating them. The Glass Menagerie and The King of Hearts. To present the award is Dwight Gallo writer of McCain. In the end the winner for Best Drama is THE KING OF HEARTS. Photos of Denton Cooley and Michael DeBakey are shown on the screen as are their film counterparts, Tom Hanks and Tom Cruise. Chad Taylor accepts this award with Bennett Miller and the two stars. Quote from Chad Taylor "This is a great honor. I think I can speak for Tom and Tom - which sounds like a morning radio show or something - in dedicating this award in the memory of Dr. Cooley and Dr. DeBakey. I'm happy that we were able to get two of the biggest movie stars of all time together for a movie but having those two larger-than-life personalities was also key to the equation."

The Quiver, the biggest award here at LRF, Chad Taylor remains on stage to present this award as Super Mario fell just shy of the parameters.
John Malone wrote two films that reached an 80 and an 86 respectively. He also produced a film for Alex Conn that reached a 75.
APJ wrote and co-wrote two blockbusters, the films reached a 78 and a 74 respectively
And finally Lon Charles wrote 1 film, but it reached an 83 making him eligible.
At the end of the day, there can only be one winner, all are deserving. The Quiver for Season 17 goes to...JOHN MALONE
Congratulations.
This concludes the second annual Silver Star Awards
