So would Daniel Day-Lewis be available for roles in LRF now? Obviously he’d be very picky if he is?

Technically speaking, yes, Day-Lewis would be potentially available for roles in LRF now. And yes, he would be very picky (much like in real life).

FUN FACT: My round 8 film was written with Day-Lewis in mind. This was before he came back so I obviously had to cast someone else. I am happy with my final casting, however.

Hey I was thinking of doing a Gremlins-like type of story. Who did you think would be a good fit as the director? I'm willing to take all suggestions but would love to give an up-and-comer or an underappreciated filmmaker a chance.

Ari Aster, David Robert Mitchell, Michael Sarnoski, Jennifer Kent, Jim Cummings, Dan Tracthenberg In LRF, even some of the most famous directors and actors may seem underused though lol

Like it's a family comedy horror film set during Thanksgiving I definitely view Gremlins as a family-comedy (and holiday film) first and horror second. Here are some directors I think could fit a similar tone (basically filmmakers who can handle horror and comedy - and specifically aimed at wide audiences): Michael Dougherty (Krampus, Godzilla: King of the Monsters) Rob Letterman (Detective Pikachu, Goosebumps) Kevin Smith (Tusk, The 4:30 Movie) Jonathan Levine (The Night Before, Warm Bodies) Jemaine Clement (What We Do in the Shadows) Gil Kenan (Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, A Boy Called Christmas) Gerard Johnstone (M3GAN, Housebound) Christopher Landon (Freaky, Happy Death Day) Brad Silberling (Land of the Lost, Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events)

Its clearly obvious that whatever plans Marvel has for a Blade reboot aren't gonna happen anytime soon, if ever at all. If anyone thinks of a Blade movie, that cool looking pic of Damson Idris in the LRF magazine with the shades says "PUT ME IN A BLADE MOVIE NOW" I don't really have a good track record for IPs, so as much as I'd be down to do it myself, I know there's gotta be someone out there who would do it and make it a good enough remake.

I wanted to write a drama set in the early 1900s in Ireland. Are there any Irish actresses under 30 who could play the lead? She should play a nurse. Or what actress could I use?
