I'm working on a new Romantic Comedy project and am having trouble trying to finalize my starring couple.
The story: A socialite panics when she is proposed to be her seemingly perfect blue blood boyfriend. Penniless due to her father's failed business dealings, she tries to get back home without a cent to her name. Along the way she meets a man who is similarly broke but becomes involved in helping her back to her home. Of course, they develop feelings for each other along their journey.
I'm including the names that are on my shortlists so far, but I'm open to new suggestions as well. I'm especially interested in who you think would make a good couple on-screen together.
Actresses considered for the female lead (so far): Emma Roberts, Sydney Sweeney, Lili Reinhart, Shailene Woodley, Zoey Deutch, Anna Kendrick
Actors considered for the male lead (so far): Jake Johnson, Glen Powell, Joe Keery, Jay Ellis, Andy Samberg, David Corenswet

I think Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell could work together given the success of "Anyone but you" Hi I'm trying to write a film about the seemingly impossible love story from 1942 to 1945 inside the Auschwitz concentration camp concerning the supervisor of the SS guards at Auschwitz Franz Wunsch and the Jewish prisoner Helena Citronova. As for Helena, I have some names in mind for the cast but I will decide later. I need some names of actors who can play Franz. In 1942 he was 20 years old. Also who could play Maria Mandl? In 1942 she was 30 years old. She is still a secondary character, even if obviously negative, in the story. The photo is was taken in prison in 1946 . I would also like some names of actresses of various ages who can be used as supporting characters for Jewish prisoners in the camp.

Thank you for the names. And i would also like some names of actresses of various ages who can be used as supporting characters for Jewish prisoners in the camp. Can you give me some names?
Obviously if anyone wants to participate with me as a screenwriter of the film they can participate:)

Miscellaneous Actresses - Klára Issová, Katrina Grey, Hannah Murray, Saffron Burrows, Hanna van Vliet, Anna Maxwell Martin, Patsy Ferran, Anamaria Vartolomei, Vicky Krieps, Lisa Vicari, Dagmara Dominczyk, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Alexandra Maria Lara, Clare Dunne, Gracija Filipovic, Miriam Margolyes, Marie Reuther, Paula Beer, Alexandra Borbély, Agata Kulesza, Anamaria Marinca, Maja Ostaszewska, Joanna Kulig, Pihla Viitala, Martha Issova
That's admittedly a pretty random list of actresses from various countries throughout Europe since the prisoners at Auschwitz consisted of Jews, Poles, Romani, Soviets and anyone else they felt like imprisoning (though it was mostly Polish prisoners in the beginning, so my list scews that way as well). I also was unable to confirm, outside of a few of them, Jewish ancestry (or religion).

Hi, I'm writing a film starring the dancer and actress Sally Rand who tries to tell a moment of her career even if in a somewhat fictionalized way. The film should be (if I'm able) a brilliant comedy with slightly more serious moments. Can you give me some advice on which actress (25-30 Years) could play her? I already have some ideas but let's see if there is any other actress who might interest me. View AttachmentView AttachmentView Attachment
Sally Rand casting ideas: Florence Pugh, Julia Garner, Chloe Grace Moretz, Zoey Deutch, Sydney Sweeney

Thank you. A couple of these names were in my mind but I hadn't thought of Julia Garner. Can I ask you which of those names are your favorites?

Hi, I'm writing a movie set during World War II in a small town in the United States. My idea is for it to be a comedy-drama. The cast is mostly female and I'm trying to choose people actually born in the South of the United States (Is that a good idea?). I would need an actress for an important character even if she is not among the main characters. I think she could be around 55 years old, widowed, cynical, sarcastic and with a cutting irony but who under the hard shell has a tender heart.
I also need a leading role. A woman around 30 who has always lived in a big city in the North of the USA who moves far away to start everything over because of a bereavement. Sophisticated, cultured, modern but also determined and with a different way of doing things from the other women in this small town in the South (For now my initial idea is Saoirse Ronan).

Hello everyone. It's still my initial idea and I still have to think carefully about how to set up the film but in the meantime I'm starting to think about the cast. I would need some names that could play Thelma Todd (Main Character) and Patsy Kelly (Secondary character). Then I would need some names Pat DiCicco and for Jewel Carmen (35-40 years old). As for Zasu Pitts I already have the idea Tanya Reynolds. Thank you:)

For these suggestions I tried to stick with talents near the age of the original actors, have a decent amount of star power, and have experience in both comedic and dramatic roles...
Nick Charles: Bradley Cooper, Henry Cavill, Chris Pine, Sebastian Stan, Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Ryan Reynolds
Nora Charles: Florence Pugh, Anya Taylor-Joy, Sydney Sweeney, Hailee Steinfeld, Jennifer Lawrence, Margot Robbie, Dakota Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen
