I’m writing a romance where the characters start off 20 ish and then the next part they’re in their early to mid 30s. For context the story is about a girl who’s in art school and meets an author online and falls in love with him and then the first part is their love story and then in the last half of the film we see kind of her wanting to be independent and the eventual breakup.
I’m thinking for the young actors I’m thinking Florence Pugh and Alex Wolff
I’m not sure for the older actors

Given what we just said about formula, I'd say maybe change up your usual actors a bit. Maybe go with actors in their late 20s (in the 28-30 range) who look like they could do both? Since most people are already fully grown by 20, I feel like it would be distracting to recast someone after only 15 years.

I came on to say exactly the same thing as Chad. 10-15 years isn't that huge of a jump, especially in Hollywood/movie time. You should just split the difference and cast actors in their late 20s.

Looking for a young actress for a leading role in a television series. The show is a dramatic comedy. She can be between 20 and 35, old enough to look like an adult, but not old enough so she looks like she's middle aged.
The role : She has a reserved personality. Caught in a circle of violence in all her relationships, she finds comfort in her two friends (the other two main characters). She likes to be around them because they help her laugh and forget about her daily problems. Highly intelligent, she could've had a nice future if she had been adequately supported by her family.
Looks : Tomboyish, short hair (actress doesn't need to have short hair), masculine qualities.
She doesn't need to be a star, or a big name, we already have that covered with another cast member.

I am developing something new and I wanna hear some casting suggestions.
Our main character - James "Jimmy" Campbell - In his 30's - widowed for 4 years, needs to be able to show a vulnerable side, he still feels the loss but he is trying to continue his life. He needs to be able to pull off the emotional scenes required in this role as well as being able to put on a happy face. Does need at least a decent singing voice, he will sing one song in the film.
The wife - In her 30s. His wife, I am giving it away now, will be a ghost that appears and disappears throughout the film. She needs to be the shining light. She smiles and laughs with Jimmy. Needs to be able to hold a long scene with Jimmy.
The photographer - In her late 20s-early 30s. Shy, Loves her camera, friendly. Has a soft voice.
Father of Jimmy - 50s. Bitter, has some unresolved issues with Jimmy.
Best Friend - Any age really. Funny, can hold it tpgether in emotional scenes. There for Jimmy when he's needed the most.
And if it helps I'm going for Spike Jonze as director.

I'm requesting your help today for a particular situation.
I'm currently working on Skyrim III and I ran into an unfortunate issue. As you're aware, Max von Sydow had a pretty big role in the second film and he sadly passed away. His role in the sequel to too big to write it out, so I'm looking for replacements for the role of Esbern.
The character is a wise old man who has seen a lot and helps the Dragonborn with his knowledge and wisdom.

Christopher Plummer has played Arngeir, leader of the Grey Beards in the two previous films, so that's a no-go.
