Looking for some ideas of lead actors for Thomas Jefferson (probably in the range of 40-55). As with Bale's George Washington, doesn't have to be a dead ringer, just someone you could picture playing that type of role.  |

Michael Fassbender, Tom Hiddleston (I know he is a bit younger), Colin Farrell, matt Damon, Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian bale, Ben affleck, Casey Affleck, Joseph Fiennes, Ralph Fiennes (I know he is a bit older).

Ok H.G & I need your help for casting in one of our upcoming DC projects, Katana.
We would like all of the roles to be kept to Japanese or Japanese descent if possible.
The roles to fill so far are:
Tatsu Yamashiro/Katana –
Age Range - 25-35
Maseo Yamashiro –
Age Range - 25-35
Takeo Yamashiro –
Age Range 25-35
Yeako Atsuko –
A simple and free-living child who reminds Tatsu of her son and herself before life took everything. She helps Tatsu regain herself while understanding what needs to be of her. Age Range 9-13
Aoi Kashikoi – Wise and stubborn Nice old man, Grandfather, Fisherman, grandfather of Yeako and father in law to Yuri Age Range 55-70
Yoshiko Yamashiro –
son of both Maseo & Tatsu 7-10
Yuri Atsuko –
Afraid, Friendly, Loving, Mother of Yeako, Daughter of Aoi age range 30-38
Miyasato Takeshi -
Badass Sheriff type of a small village. Tends to poke his nose where it shouldn't belong, backstabber. Age range 40-60

Two more characters, Katana's mother and father, The father aged in his 60-70s and the mother 55-65
The father looks sickly. They are a traditional Japanese family

Good luck with that one.... I recall casting the supporting roles in Shōgun being very difficult

Thankyou I have found most of the cast members now, some from this list and others not, I am glad to say I have kept it an all Japanese or Japanese descent cast
