And Mr Jenkins is also directing a movie for me called Diary Of Anne Frank which is an adaptation of the play.

It's only right that CT's 25th film should be an instant classic

Ghost Town is my personal favorite of the season. It is a movie that is thought provoking and emotional at the same time. The writing was terrific and Barry Jenkins and the cast made it better.

Thanks for the kind words all.
A few additional notes about the film: the first picture in the Fact-To-Film post gives a glimpse at the thousands who gathered into town for the lynching of Will 'Froggie' James. And I forgot to mention in my blog post that another true part of the '67 section was the suspicious death of Pfc. Robert Hunt (while Jack is a character of mine).

Flash Gordon should be played by Wyatt Russell. He'd be perfect. Him or Chris Hemsworth or Liam even.

Congo Chad!
On the topic of Flash Gordon, I believe a TV actor like Chris Pratt(Not Chris Pratt Like him) should be given the chance to shine. I am missing the name of the actor I wanted to recommend though.

William Hung or Greg Sestero for Flash Gordon directed by Tommy Wiseau. Part of the fun of Flash Gordon is the guilty pleasure of it.

Just kidding but I think Flash Gordon should be done as a B movie not an A movie because that’s what it is. I miss when movies like Flash had a Roger Corman Esque charm now they are just boring A movie blockbusters. I want to see Roger Corman direct Flash Gordon.

Edgar Wright maybe also would be a good director.

So.... The one film (A Little Life) I wrote that knew that wouldn't work bombed like crazy... Gotta say I don't even feel anything about it. I mean it's the lowest grossing movie for LRF but I just am not getting upset about it. I kinda knew it would happen. Honestly, I was in a dark place when I decided to make a drama tragedy and thought this book would the best one. After awhile, I realized I made a mistake but it was too late and it was already getting made so I just decided to bare my teeth and allow the punches to roll. The most I can say is, whatever comes next for me will NEVER be this terrible or a waste of time for anyone.
