I'd say more curious than excited. I am in the seeming majority that found DeHaan's character underwhelming, so I am curious how (and really why) the next entry is centered around him.

The reason I cast Dane Dehaan is his character is like Andrew in Chronicle. This movie is like Chronicle or Breaking Bad. for Charlie. Charlie has some good in him. It’s a dark movie man and my proudest work except for my Virgin Suicides adaptation and Oh Johnny Boy.

With what I said in my blog post ( mobuckwriters.wordpress.com/2019/01/26/7-days-in-hell/), I'm interested to know who you think is the real villain in the story? Do you think it's John Hamels (Bryan Cranston) or Anthony Sinclair (John Hawkes)? Feel free to answer that question in this thread.

Cranston is the protagonist, so I don't know if he could really ever be considered THE villain (at least not with how the story is told), since it's his goals and motivation moving the story forward.
In this case I think it boils down to point-of-view. Since the story is from the perspective of John Hamels, he can never be the villain of that story even if he would be considered one from the other characters' point-of-view. Every villain is the hero of their own story, after all.

I think everyone’s fucked up in 7 days. It’s a brutal violent story.

I was interested in Maximum Max and then you went and added Melanie and Owen, the interest went to super levels.

I don't think anything has been released yet about The Host, alextheman. I certainly haven't heard anything of it yet, so there's nothing to get excited about (yet).

It’s my film which is directed by Yorgos Lanthimos and it’s about a high schooler who wins a contest to spend 5 days with a sociopathic tech billionaire and weird shit happens and it’s a horror movie.

I'm not as in love with Chalamet as every one else seems to be, but Phoenix is always interesting.
