The revelation of the cast of the Tekken film continues, which will be released next season on LRF NOW, whose name has not yet been revealed. The cast of this film seems to be of good quality and with some fairly well-known names (as opposed to Tekken: Ninja Clan which seems to be a more niche product). This movie will be a typical action and spy movie with some thriller tints and maybe you could have risked a movie release but in the end it would have been too risky. A box office failure would have been a disaster for this universe. Francesca Eastwood (Enchained, The Vault) , Tom Hopper ( Crimson, The Umbrella Academy) and Wilmer Valderrama ( Dead Space,Painkiller Jane) will play characters connected with Lana Lei play by Rila Fukushima. Francesca Eastwood (who was preferred at the last moment to Svetlana Chodchenkova) returns to work with Billy Cruder after her good performance in Enchained.  Zack Ward ( Resident Evil: Apocalypse, Freddy vs Jason, Z-Nation) and Elisha Cuthbert ( The Ranch,Alex+Ada,Zombieworld) will be Anna and Nina's parents in the Tekken universe, likely in some flashbacks.  An unconfirmed news is expanding in the last hours on the web. Pom Klementieff (Guardians of The Galaxy 2, Avengers: Infinity War,Westworld) may be joining some Tekken: Universe projects soon. The actress didn't confirm but she posted a cryptic photo on social media.  |

The name of the Tekken movie has been revealed and will be released next season with a promotional image. The film will be titled Tekken: Death by Degrees.  This will still be Nina's outfit in the film. Nina loves the color purple and it is her characteristic color of her in the Tekken video games. Today the last names of the cast of this film were also revealed. Dule' Hill ( Psych, Suits, Locked Down) will play a scientist who will meet Nina Williams during the mission. 13-year-old girls Darby Camp ( The Christmas Chronicle, The Christmas Chronicle 2) and Alyvia Alyn Lind ( Maximum Ride Series, Visions) will play Anna and Nina when they were young. There is also a curiosity about the cast. Katheryn Winnick and Alyvia Alyn Lind had previously worked together in Season 15 in the Supernatural-Thriller movie "Visions" in which they played mother and daughter.  |

Actress JESSIE MEI LI ( Shadow and Bone) enthusiastically said on her Instagram profile that she will play Ling Xiaoyu in Tekken Universe. It looks like she will be one of the main characters in the movie Tekken: Blood Feud. The rumors that Jing Tian signed up for the role were likely not real.  During the night a bombshell arrived that blew up the web. DAVE BAUTISTA ( Guardians of the Galaxy 1 and 2) will be one of the most iconic characters in the world of Tekken, the wrestler King.  Finally, it also seems confirmed that Japanese actress HIRONA YAMAZAKI ( Monster Hunter) will play Xiaoyu's best friend, Miharu Hirano. This character is not a good fighter even though she has been a playable character in a couple of video games.  |

In the meantime, I have created a fairly long video that will make the Tekken characters and the actors who have already signed up to play them in my Tekken Universe better known. In this way, when the films are released (Or if you want to look at the two already released) you can have better in mind the face of the character and the actor. Inside the video there will be 4 castings not yet revealed to the public (Plus the rumor about the character of Lili de Rochefort..) . I think that at 5.43 there could be a nice surprise. Not too familiar with the Tekken universe but I like having this visual reference point. And of course I’m always in favor of more multimedia ancillary stuff like this at LRF (even if I’ve slowed down on my end). Excited to see Christopher Lloyd come to LRF!

Some news regarding the Tekken Universe. The upcoming closure of LRF NOW has slightly upset future plans for movie releases on the streaming platform. However, their releases remain safe for the next season and season 21 films. There is only one film that could be cut due to the closure of LRF NOW but it is not said, we will see if there will be news in the future. In an interview LUCA MARINELLI ( Martin Eden, The Old Guard) and GIULIO BERRUTI ( The Hitman's wife's Bodguard, The Cry of the Night Lady) said that they have signed to appear at least in a Tekken Universe film without specifying which character they will play. One of the two should play Claudio Serafino given the Italian nationality of the character while nothing is known about the second character in question.  Luca MatinelliA 21-year-old Japanese actress MINAMI HAMABE ( Kakerugui, Let Me Eat Your Pancreas) will play Asuka Kazama, a young fighter distantly related to the Mishima and Kazama families. The young actress aroused the interest of insiders in 2017 by also winning several awards for her role in the romantic-drama film Let Me Eat Your Pancreas where she played a girl with a terminal illness. In 2019 she is instead the protagonist of Kakegurui, a film adaptation of the famous manga series of the same name set in a kind of private school in which she plays a girl with a maniacal passion for gambling.  Minami Hamabe It wasn't official yet but after a few weeks of negotiations it can finally be said that PEYTON ROI LIST ( Fear of the Dark, Ghost Stories, Cobra Kai) will be the rich scion Emilie "Lili" de Rochefort in the Tekken Universe. There are rumors that speak of a possible starring role in a future film of the franchise. What is certain is that in the video game Lili de Rochefort is nice as a kick on the shins, we'll see if Billy Cruder will be able to improve the character. The same rumors speak that Ling Xiaoyu ( JESSIE MEI LI) will also make an appearance in that same film, but it could also be unsubstantiated news. Recall that for a brief moment that Xioyu has already made the appearance of her in Tekken: Ninja Clan albeit played by a child while she was relating to her grandfather Wang Jinrei ( TZI MA).  |

Xander Berkeley almost officially enters the Tekken Universe. The New York actor is expected to play Sebastian, a servant of the De Rochefort family and Lili's butler, who is quite fond of him. Xander is quite well known thanks to a very long career in cinema and TV series and can be an excellent graft for the Tekken Universe despite his role in the games being very secondary in it.  Unofficial sources reveal the names of two actors who are said to be in talks to enter the Tekken Universe, although these rumors could also be just nonsense. The 36-year-old Japanese actress and model Tao Okamoto ( Synthetic, Green Arrow 2: Hunters, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice) could play Kazumi Mishima, wife of Heihachi and mother of Kazuya and proved to be important for the story especially in Tekken 7. The second name concerns Joe Taslim ( Uncharted 2, Assassin's Creed: The New Order) who could play Lei Wulong, detective number 1 of the Hong Kong International Police Force.

The film should be called Tekken: New Generation and filming is already being completed in this period. A storyboard image was later leaked showing Lili Rochefort ( Peyton Roi List) hiding from Eliza ( Emma Dumont) in a dark corridor.  In addition, there are some rumors that speak of a famous wrestler still affiliated with WWE who may soon appear in a Tekken Universe movie. The name has not been revealed but fans are convinced that he will play Jack. If the rumor is true, which wrestler will Jack be playing?  |

Surely one of the two names you made was seriously considered for the role.
However, among a few days I will be releasing the Tekken Universe update video which will include new music, some changes and added images and some new cast including the mystery wrestler.
Also from the video it will be understood that the rumors that Joe Taslim wanted to play Lei Wulong were probably false.

Looking forward to the future release of "Curse of Janara" I am releasing my update of the video on the Tekken Universe. I also say a couple of words about the film led by Amanda Seyfried, Taylor Kitsch, Olivia Wilde and Scoot Mcnairy. I don't think the film is particularly good and I hope the story is understood well in the Italian-English translation. However I hope that at least the atmosphere is good and that the supernatural story about Janara (which is a fairly well known Italian legend here) manages to be quite interesting.
