You may have noticed, but the James Morgan Show took a week off as James is finalizing a script he's been working on for a long time, but in the meantime, here's the Lady of the House television movie that will serve as the series finale. It was announced a couple of weeks ago and it is finally released today. I hope you enjoy it! lastresorttv.blogspot.com/2019/07/lady-of-house-movie.html

Here's the fifth episode of the James Morgan Show! lastresorttv.blogspot.com/2019/08/the-james-morgan-show-25.htmlThe following is just a simple reminder that we would like to have everyone's pilot before August 24th (and possibly following episodes). The first week is always the longest to set up and we want to have adequate time to review the episode, so that's why we want to have your pilots before this date. Thank you for your understanding. We are setting up to have a tremendous season of television ahead of us and I can't wait for it to finally start!

To help everyone out getting ready for Season 2 of LRTV, there will be a two-week hiatus following the Season 12 Golden Reel Awards (currently scheduled for August 23rd - so your first episode should hopefully be done by then already). Hopefully that will give everyone, myself included, some extra time to get some extra episodes finished before the start of the LRTV season.

Sooooo… this is weird, but someone pointed out that R. Lee Emery (supposed to be a part of The Survivor's cast) died last year. I'm pretty sure I checked, but of course, I'll replace him.
Donald Sutherland has joined the cast, in the small, but pivotal role in my series.

I hope you guys enjoyed our first day of Last Resort Television! I also hope you don't mind our new posting times.
I was supposed to post a segment last night to complete our day, but something came up and I wasn't able to post it, so I'll just keep it for next Monday.
Speaking of missing shows, Dominic Wilkins and Stephen Merchant's Hype appears on the schedule for today 10 pm EST, but it will not air this week, as the show will be 8-episode long and it will take the first and last week off.
Enjoy your day of LRTV!

Just a response to the critics regarding the start of Season 2 of Miami Vice. No, there won't be a season long plot line (it's not really in the nature of the show), but there will be far more characters returning for more than one episode. Also, rather than focus on some season long villain, what I'm trying to focus on in this season as well as future seasons is the relationships the characters have - both with each other as well as with others outside the squad. Essentially my goal is to continue developing and evolving the relationships between the characters as they continue their work each week. I feel that is a more realistic angle for the Miami-Dade Vice Squad. The cops are always going to squaring off against different criminals, because that's the job. So I understand the criticism from the critics (and I'm not even arguing against it), but I did want to give people a taste of what they can expect in the future from the series.
