Just a heads up to say that I haven't been able to post Manson today. Something came up, but I'll post it as soon as I can. Sorry about that.

In case you haven't noticed, the first episode of Manson, by Lon Charles and Antonio Campos was released earlier this evening. lastresorttv.blogspot.com/2019/09/manson-11-pilot.htmlIt will be followed by John Malone's take on the Rockstar video game L.A. Noire at 10 pm EST. I'm so sorry for this delay that frankly, shouldn't have happened, but as I said, life's been crazy. Things will go back to normal tomorrow.

I'll make a couple of quick announcements regarding LRTV (nothing major) :
As you've seen, the James Morgan Show will not hear on Sunday anymore, but it will fill the gap on the Monday schedule, so, it will now air on Mondays at 10 pm EST.
One of our series (Hype) was delayed to trouble during production and it will not air this week, again. The show will have eight episodes and it will air for the last 8 weeks of LRTV. If you're wondering what happened with the show, well, Dominic Wilkins had everything ready and in the end, didn't like the final product, so he deleted all his scripts and started again, hence the delay.
That's all for me tonight and I hope you enjoyed the first week of Last Resort Television. By the way, it's good to have LRF back too! I'll use this opportunity to plug the release of Harry Wright and James Morgan's Rocket Red, a film that is part of the MBWADCU !

I just wanted to address the casting of Logan Lerman which was the subject of criticism in my show The Survivors (Monday Late Evening). I get why you may think he's too old (he's 27), but I don't think he necessarily looks his age (but that's not what I want to point out).
As you've probably seen, the show is based on another television series. In the original show, the actor playing the oldest son was about to turn 36 when the series came out. His character, Charles, is commonly known as a Tanguy in Quebec, which means an old son that doesn't work and just sticks around and intends to stay as long as he wants. The family in the show is quite conservative as you've may seen, so they usually stayed with their parents as long as they wish to. I chose Logan Lerman because he's older than the actors playing his siblings, but he still looks quite young, so I hoped it would help a bit.
Also, there will be some sort of explanation as to why he's older than his siblings in upcoming episodes. Families had a weird dynamic in the sixties. In my own family, in the previous generation, there was an age gap of more than 30 years between the oldest and youngest child.
I'm not saying my casting is perfect, or even good for the role, you are the judge of that. I'm not arguing with the critics, because honestly, I get them. I just wanted to point out this historical fact to clarify the situation and to help understand why Logan Lerman was cast in that specific role.
I hope you can appreciate The Survivors anyway, because I'm a bit disappointed in its ranking right now, haha.

Just want to note that every time a new Rolling Stone drops, I always have the song from the episode title stuck in my head for a few days after.

Was going to put a little teaser at the end of this week's episode but forgot, so just wanted to say that the next episode of Survivor will indeed be The Merge.
Also, fun fact: Out of the final ten players, 9 different LRF writers are represented. I find that pretty freaking cool (again, elimination order was randomized).

Someone pointed out that the latest Hype episode wasn't available and he was right. I had mistakenly scheduled it for next week, so here it is :

The Tasman and Maori tribes have merged! With an even 50/50 split within the new tribe, will someone defect to break the deadlock or are they willing to stick to tribal lines and risk a game of chance? Check out the latest episode of Survivor: Last Resort - New Zealand: lastresorttv.blogspot.com/2019/10/survivor-last-resort-26-new-zealand.html(For some reason I was in the mood for doing a little commercial )

Just wanted to say RIP Robert Forster. I cast him in Burnt Prairie because I've always liked him as an actor (might be the best part of Jackie Brown) and he will be sorely missed
