I enjoy some soapy melodrama from time to time (I watch wrestling, after all) so I thought Gauntlet was a nice little addition to the TV slate. Some storylines were stronger than others and I find the cast a little bland but at least it found its comfort zone and stayed consistent week-to-week.

I've found these category recaps to be very helpful after a lot of episodes of TV. Thanks, Harry!

Just a question for future seasons: When a show gets cancelled, is it therefore ineligible for the Golden Views? Does it have to reach a certain number of episodes? Just curious, sorry if this has been answered elsewhere.
Also, fun fact, the photo Harry chose for Vincent Kartheiser is post-Mad Men Season 7, when he shaved back his hairline to give Pete Campbell a receding hairline as the character got older (or at least closer to mid-life crisis age). So this picture is when it is growing back and it looks SO WEIRD. Poor guy, haha

Just curious, sorry if this has been answered elsewhere. Regarding Fa-Sass and Search Here (our two cancelled shows) ; These shows had respectively three and two episodes released, so we figured that they didn't have enough impact to be featured on the ballot. We try to never end shows midseason to avoid situations like these, but we didn't have a choice for those two. This situation shouldn't happen again, if everything goes correctly.

Thanks to everyone who chose my show Nez Perce for so many awards in the inaugural edition of the Golden Views. It is a work I am incredibly proud of, so I am very happy that people have enjoyed the first season. I'll be getting started on writing the second season of the show here soon, so hopefully it will live up to the expectations set upon it. I also want to extend a congratulations to my fellow winners and nominees. Here's to several more successful seasons of LRF and LRTV...

My takeaways from TV Upfronts part 1...:
-The Survivors - I'm all about that lead duo, both of whom starred in Season 11 films of mine. Always down for a fish-out-of-water time-travel story.
-Total Drama: Asuka Valley - Not familiar with the original series but I always like to see more animated fare at the studio. It puts my own Survivor show in a interesting spot with a riff on it airing simultaneously but I'm a reality TV junkie who knows how dumb it is so I look forward to seeing it be lampooned.
-She-Hulk - Very excited to bring this show to you all! Marvel obviously has some drawing power, which helped in landing a showrunner who is on a real hot streak at the moment. This will borrow inspiration from Dan Slott's take on the character, exploring the weirdness of the legal system in a world with superheroes.
-Human - This one sounds like a solid adult sci-fi drama which, despite not being exactly my taste, has potential.
-Hype - The seedy mascot underworld? Sign me up! Having Merchant on board as EP definitely helps, as well.
-Showtime - You already know how much I loved world-building with Mo in the Doctor Love universe so just multiply that times ten when we are constrained by a two-hour runtime.
-Rubber City Rockers - Chalk me up as someone who didn't know that Akron even had a punk rock scene, which means I'm certainly intrigued on the story Cobb and Wain have to tell.
