New blog post touching on some TV topics, plus a special announcement sneaked in there. There are still open spots for Survivor: Last Resort so I encourage everyone to apply (and apply again!) - even if you've never seen (or heard of) the show. Again, your only work is creating a character through the quick survey and then I will handle the role-play aspects of telling the story. While the imbalance isn't huge, there are currently more males than females. Deadline for application is March 20, 2019. Just a heads up for my regular readers: there'll probably no blog post from me until after the GRAs as I'm currently in the process of moving (thanks to that sweet JLI money). As previously announced, Inside the Writer's Studio with John Malone will also drop in between this season and the next.

Interesting interview as always, Chad. It was nice hearing from John Malone, a talented writer that we don't see enough! He's part of my LRF Mount Rushmore, that's for sure! |

Way back when, I made a blog post asking for a co-writer for Mortal Kombat, which turned out to be a successful adaptation (if I should say so myself). So I'm going to try it again here but with an original idea.
Basically, I have a one-sentence concept that I'm looking to expand but it's in a genre I'm not well acquainted with. I do have a director and a few actors in mind, but not much. It goes something like this:
Amidst a zombie outbreak that is quickly ravaging the population, a young orphaned girl stumbles upon a secluded insane asylum - who's inhabitants have been unaffected by the plague and must work together and be her protector.
Sound particularly compelling to anyone? Is is too similar to an existing property (again, not too familiar with the horror/zombie genre)? For what it's worth, I'd love to work with someone I've never collaborated with before, if possible. PM me if interested.
