This is a bit of an open casting call. An area that I often struggle with is casting kid and teen actors. So I’m curious: who are your favorite young performers in the 10-20 age range? Has there been anybody that has really impressed in you in something recently? This is for a lead role(s) and I’d love multiple opinions.

Since coming here to this thread helped me cast the lead role in my first film (OZ due out in this upcoming season), I figured I'd give it another shot for a new film. The film is a historical action film in the vein of 300 or the Spartacus TV series (so full of sex and decapitations) about a newly named king chasing his father's murderer, king of an enemy empire (hopefully played by Dave Bautista), across an entire continent to get revenge in grand, epic fashion. I'm looking for someone approximately 25-40 years old, fair/light-skinned, tough. I'm not looking for a big name (think Gerard Butler coming into 300), but would make for a believable action lead/hero.

I've never seen him in anything, but man does Milo Gibson look almost exactly how I pictured the character in my head.

I'm working up a TV pitch right now - a companion piece to Gauntlet of sorts. I'm looking for some (male) actors in their early to mid 20s (playing teens of course) with athletic builds/frames. It's for a TV pitch and the roles are mostly supporting, so I'm not looking for any big names. Any help would be appreciated.

I’d go with the others as a backup plan if you can’t get Peter. |

I am currently working on Shakespeare's Coriolanus and was after casting for some roles, I just want to hear some out of the box suggestions
Caius Martius - Lead Age anywhere between 30 and 50
Brave, fearsome in battle, and extremely honorable, he is also overly proud, immature, inflexible, and stubbornly aristocratic.
Volumnia Age anywhere between 45 and 60
A Roman noblewoman and the mother of Coriolanus. She is devoted to her son and delights in his military exploits
Tullus Aufidius age anywhere between 30 and 50
A general of the Volscians, Rome's enemy. He is Coriolanus's great rival in warfare but is not quite the equal of the Roman general
Brutus age 25 to 40
One of the tribunes elected by the common people, or plebeians, of Rome to serve as their representative in the government. A clever politician, he regards Coriolanus as a great danger to the class he represents
Menenius age 45 to 60
A Roman nobleman, or patrician, and a friend to Coriolanus. Gifted with a clever tongue, he has a reputation as a great wit
