Really bad run from me lately, I'm hoping I can put it together for the next movies and turn it around.
I feel like I have interesting ideas from time to time but struggle to execute them well.

I’m not surprised this film didn’t do so well in the box office or with critics. I’m not happy with how this one turned out for a multitude of reasons, but I’ll delve more into that in my blog. I do want to open the floor with others to see how I can improve my films in the future cause I have noticed a down tick in critic scores recently and want to see what I can do to turn the tide.
Also I just realized Mimsley and Me is my best performing film this season. The one I didn’t think would pan out in the box office is the best film I had this season. Incredible.

My biggest piece of advice for your films specifically would be to maybe try to simplify the concepts a bit more. That doesn't mean simplify the stories necessarily, but the concepts themselves. I feel like a concept for a story should be able to be explained in one sentence in most cases. The plot that revolves around that concept can be complex, but centering everything around that one easy-to-describe concept helps from a storytelling aspect (and probably a box office/marketing aspect as well). I think some of your films are hard to distill the concept down to one sentence.
A few examples (from my own LRF films and Hollywood films): The Matrix - A man discovers the world around him is actually a computer program built by machines that have taken over the world.
John Wick - An ex-hitman comes out of retirement to track down the gangsters who killed his dog and stole his car.
Murder Mysteries - An angel is assigned to investigate the first murder in Heaven.
Five Boroughs - Two brothers pull of a series of deliveries in one night throughout NYC for a drug lord in order to pay off a debt.
This isn't something I've always practiced or preached, but I think it could help you specifically since some of your concepts are a bit difficult to narrow down. I recall that was part of the issue critics had with Mimsley and Me (although that one worked out at the box office). If your concept is hard to narrow down to one sentence, it may be that the concept may have too many extra ideas or isn't strong enough to carry a film.

Follow-up: I just walked out a theaters where I watched The Fall Guy and I feel like it is another good example of what NOT to do - a muddied concept. The TV series kept it super simple : A Hollywood stunt man moonlights as a bounty hunter to help pay the rent. In the film version (which is officially a big box office bomb from the numbers coming in) that concept is over-complicated. Instead we get a Hollywood stunt man coming out of retirement for a new film where they tries to woo his ex-girlfriend who is now a hotshot director and has to track down the leading man he is doubling after he has fallen into drugs and accidentally killed his previous stunt man. Muddled concept = trouble. The film was entertaining, but the more I think about the story the more I notice how messy it made itself (which is evident in the marketing and as a result also the box office). Something tells me that if they had solidified the concept a bit more, the film would have done better at the box office. In TV ads, films have 30 seconds to get you interested, so if you can't explain what the gist of the film is in that time, it is going to struggle to find its audience.

CRITICS!
Season 30 is currently scheduled to begin on June 9th, but as of right now less than 1/2 of the films sent out for review have had a review returned by the critic. If you signed up to be a critic for Season 30, please take a look at your messages and please review the films sent to you (films in the first five rounds have a higher priority right now). I will post Season 30's schedule below so you critics know which films need to be reviewed sooner. If I do not start to see more reviews being sent in, I will start messaging critics directly in an effort to avoid potential delays. Thank you.
