Just to say I have no problem with any sexual assault films. I just want to see films that deal with the subject matter with a sense of care but not like a Lifetime Channel film

Yea I gotta say more on the dilemma of the coach looking the other way and being there for his family would be better. Added to the other stuff the film would have been interesting

Well, now I see why the adaptations of The Devil in the White City outside of LRF have always fallen apart. Despite it's interesting characters (although I was getting confused by the number of architects and engineers and all that), it doesn't tell a film story. Maybe if the murders started affecting business at the fair and forced Burnham to help the detectives stop him and thus save not only only innocent lives but also his legacy, it would have worked. But by sticking with the two entirely separate story lines of the book it fails to create suspense and intrigue.

Well that does it... I'm probably gonna quit here. I just don't have it to make films here. I may have broken a record for most money lost in the first two films a writer has done.

I wouldn't take it to heart, Wesley Campbell. Animated films can be tricky because they are expensive to produce and can't rely on star power to bring people in.

Yea it's not like real life some of the times. I mean maybe in real life this would have opened big but sometimes it doesn't. I mean Branded Ants has like The Rock, Margot Robbie, Selena Gomez and Zac Efron to draw people in.

The list of the biggest box office bombs of all-time is littered with animated films: Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas (2003) - lost $170 million (second biggest bomb of all-time when adjusted for inflation after last year's disastrous Mortal Engines) Titan A.E. (2000) - lost $145 million Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (2001) - lost $133 million Treasure Planet (2002) - lost $118 million Rise of the Guardians (2012) - lost $95 million The Good Dinosaur (2015) - lost $90 million Osmosis Jones (2001) - lost $89 million Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return (2014) - lost $75 million Happy Feet Two (2011) - lost $72 million I'm sure some of those seemed like absolute sure things, but ended up as colossal failures. It happens often.

Not to mention Delgo the infamous bomb that I went to see in theaters as a kid with no one in the theater

Delgo (2008) didn't quite lose as much money as those other examples, but it did lose an estimated $46 million.

Gotta say I agree with Stockton, I think Tatum's a good choice for Flash Gordon. Excited to see the end result
