You can use this thread to discuss the various LRF NOW releases.
To start this thread off, I decided to go ahead and announce the first LRF NOW release of Season 17....... the Director's Cut of Creature from the Black Lagoon, written by D.R. Cobb and directed by Matt Reeves.

ANNOUNCEMENT:
In order to allow LRF NOW to sustain itself for future seasons, starting with Season 19 there will now be 5 pieces of new content rather than 10 (which would still consist of a mix of Director's Cuts, Writer Commentaries and LRF NOW Original Films).

I really love the new Cat People poster for the Director's Cut. It is now probably my favorite of the posters for my films.

The chance to come up with new posters for some of the very early films has been what I've enjoyed most about the Director's Cuts.

While last night's release of Tekken: Mishima Origins is the final LRF NOW release, you still can submit Writer Commentaries and Director's Cuts (no LRF NOW Original Films though) - they just won't be part of the LRF NOW umbrella any more.

I noticed we are seeing some LRF Now original films, is there any chance we can see some original TV shows? I’d love to try to pitch some TV shows exclusive to LRF Now..

I noticed we are seeing some LRF Now original films, is there any chance we can see some original TV shows? I’d love to try to pitch some TV shows exclusive to LRF Now.. LRF NOW has ended. There used to be a television offshoot, LRTV, run by Mo Buck, but that too ended a good while ago. Interest in those various side projects have never been very strong or consistent. LRF NOW projects were always lower in view counts than the regular films, and I know Mo was frequently disheartened by low view counts for LRTV shows.
Some of the writers have brought it up multiple times so I've considered methods of bringing back television into the LRF fold off and on (I enjoyed writing my series, Rolling Stone). I would never be able to run a daily thing, but one thing I have considered is having series set up like I have them on the database right now where it more of a binge-watch situation and having them posted during the break between seasons. For that to work though, entire seasons would need to be written and pitched in advance - one problem Mo frequently faced was writers turning in episodes late so that. If that is something that would interest people, answer the poll: lastresortfilms.proboards.com/thread/185/new-iteration-lrtv
