Since so many have asked, and we have some new faces, I've decided to throw out the possibility of a new iteration of Last Resort Television. - Entire seasons would need to be written and pitched in advance. - Casts would need to be TV-appropriate (able to fit in a fairly realistic television budget and such). - There would be a very strict word count limit (to be determined if or when this would move forward). Do not take this thread or the poll as any indication that this will definitely happen. It is just my way of gauging interest (and making some of the stipulations clear). There would need to be A LOT of interest, and a lot of TV show submissions banked up in advance (much like the film situation for LRF) so that it could sustain itself without resorting to me having to write a bunch of series or scramble for material (I teach full-time and do all this LRF stuff just for fun, once it starts feeling like work it won't be fun for me so I'd like to avoid that).

I will be using the number of votes in the poll to determine how much initial interest there is. If enough people vote "Yes", I can then pursue what the next step(s) may be. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, feel free to post them below.

Since the previous poll indicates that there is some interest in a return of a TV format in some way, I have changed the poll at the top to gauge who would be interested in writing a series.

Would the episodes each need to be as detailed as a film plot? I know you can’t just put a vague description, but how would you like the episode descriptions to be written out?

If we move forward, episodes would be expected to be similar in style as a film pitch, but obviously can be shorter. I'm hoping to make a decision on whether television will return to LRF this week sometime, so you can expect more concrete information then.
