Drop a like if you want the sequel to Krueger. I'm considering a continuation, this time with Krueger being the dream serial killer we all know and love instead of just a normal serial killer. If I did the sequel, it will probably be under A Nightmare on Elm Street banner this time, instead of calling it Krueger 2.

I’m curious what you guys think of this. I had a dream last night and I don’t remember much but I remember it was tense and it took place among my high school friends at a pizza place. I’m thinking my next project after I finish the one I’m finishing.l is this movie.
I’m thinking Richard Linklater will direct.
What you guys think?

Need more than that, like what's the premise, hook, tone/vibe, genre, and overall goal character-wise are you aiming for? Like, what's the hero's journey for this?

Is there a new direction you're going to take? I feel like this is a series that's been bone dry for a long time now. You'll have to do what McBride & Gordon Green did for Halloween 2018 to make it work. Not judging, tbh; I hope it works out.

It'd be more of a continuation of Krueger. If I can get it together that is.

You could do it, just try not to be Terrifier when you do.

I recently had this idea about making a heavily fictionalized film about the creation of the You On Kazoo video. I was thinking it would be from the perspective of a director for hire who is only making this video to finance a cruise with him and his girlfriend and all the fictional crazy shit that happens from the making of the video.

You On Kazoo is a popular meme and real life educational video from the late 80s and I want to do like a fictionalized movie about the making of that video with Seth Rogen playing the cynical director.

What does anyone think of doing a one-take filmed movie about an on-going murder trail? Like it's a mystery thriller that unravels things about the case as the trails goes on. I'm not familiar with legal terms and how trials actually work but I think a tense, brisk pace style would be different for a story like this.

The John Wayne Gacy story would be great I think with Paul Walter Hauser playing Gacy.

I think a film about Gacy could be interesting. There have been a few made, but the only one that was even remotely decent was the TV movie To Catch A Killer featuring the great Brian Dennehy as Gacy. As someone who has written about real life monsters, the difficult part in writing them is that you need to find a way to bring in the human element to a character who is essentially inhumane. With Newbury Street I played around with Chuck Stuart's desperation, with Crime of the Century I played around with Leopold and Loeb each bringing out the worst in each other. You need to find what makes them unique other than their killings. Gacy wasn't a sad sack like a Dahmer or even an outwardly weird guy. I think the thing that makes Gacy interesting is that he didn't consider himself homosexual despite abducting, raping and murdering young men - the murdering might really have been his way of covering up the rapes and repressing his sexual desires, so that may be a way to make him feel like a human, that element of repression (that everyone feels in some way, but most don't rape and murder dozens of people).

Reaching out to fellow writers, I have already talked to a few people personally, I am looking for ideas for films, to do as a solo project, without any superhero connections. While I do have superhero projects and co-writing projects in the works right now, I don't really have any solo projects.
So I am asking you, if there are any film ideas you have that you do not think you will get around to, shoot me a message, I would love to hear them. Whether you would be happy to give me the idea or stay on as a producer and give me notes and brainstorm etc. That would be up to you. I am trying to become motivated to write again and I think what I need is inspiration through someone else's idea.
I would appreciate it a lot if there were ideas out there
