Due to the consistent questions regarding writing films based on Marvel Comics, the studio has made the announcement that we are interested in producing Marvel Comics films, but that there are some stipulations. The key rule of thumb will be to try to tackle any property differently than Disney has done or is doing if using the same characters. There are obviously casting stipulations as well. If an actor is already currently in an established DC/Marvel franchise (or very known for the role), they will most likely be denied for the role.

A general question regarding this topic: Would you guys be interested in utilizing the LRTV platform to expand this canon as well (at least peripherally)? A certain writer might be working on a previously-mentioned green female in that capacity...

And, as far as side characters go, is J. Jonah Jameson OK to use? Going on 12 years and a handful of Spidey movies without an appearance at this point.

You're more than welcome to fit your green leading lady into the in-progress canon (and since it's early on, potentially even set up some of the canon yourself in your series). I welcome it personally, since there are not a lot of LRF Marvel movies currently on the docket. You can message myself (and/or dgallo) if you want to figure out specific details.

Unfortunately, because Tom Hardy is already currently playing a Marvel character (Venom) he is not eligible to appear in any of the studio's Marvel Universe films.

Is Spiderman 2099 available? Like the way Batman and Superman is here.

I would say that a character like Spider-Man 2099 (which I feel falls into a bit of a gray area), would be entirely dependent on the quality of the pitch. Originally I never planned on there being Superman and Batman in the DC Comics Universe, but the respective pitches from John Malone and APJ sold me.

Okay I get you. Just checking. What about a secret warriors or young avengers?

Anything using the title "Avengers" won't be okayed, but Secret Warriors theoretically could be okay but it would require some heavy changes to the origin and the team roster.
