Just a heads up to warn you that the For Your Consideration Best Supporting Actress post is a bit messed up because we had A LOT of problems with it and it's the best we could do.

The reason I'm delaying the 2nd Golden Views nominations announcement is quite simple. I've only received 6 votes so far, other than ours, down more than 50% of what we had last season. I get that some of you don't really care about the television counterpart of LRF, but from my end, seeing that I'm devoting all that time and energy all season long only to get only six votes at the Golden Views, it's a little hard to digest. As it stands right now, it would be quite hard to convince me to go ahead and do a third season, I just don't see the benefits anymore, but perhaps I could change my mind down the line, but, as I said, right now, I really don't see why it's worth it.

I think it's time for me to retract my comments and to clarify, to set things straight for everyone. Let's start by saying that I will continue to do LRTV, if you guys get on board. The reason I wrote my rant a couple of days ago was to vent out my frustration. I really want LRTV to work, I really do, but I can't help but feel like it is missing the mark right now and I don't really know why. I put great time and energy into it, but it doesn't translate into the success I imagined. I had high hopes about it, but it's not as popular as I thought it would be. We all have a life outside of LRF and I understand that. I have so much on my plate, but I always take the time to work on LRF or LRTV and I get why people aren't invested as much as I am. (I want to take the moment to congratulates Admin for keeping this up and running for more than two years now). I want to know why it missed the mark for two seasons in a row now. I figure we could bring LRTV to new heights for Season 3. We have a lot of quality shows on air and I want them to continue to tell their stories. Season 3 won't come for a while. I don't have a date in mind right now, but don't except it until Spring, at least. For all my LRTV writers out there, you can keep writing your shows, you aren't doing this for nothing. I had some problems with my organisation for LRTV Season 2, but I don't think it's the factor why it wasn't the success I wanted it to be. After the 2nd Golden Views, if you guys agree, I would set up an anonymous survey so you guys can write the reasons why you read, or not the shows we air. You will be able to give us points to improve and what we did good. We will accept the critic and work hard to come up with a season that will try to tick all the right boxes, so the people who don't read our shows would hopefully get on board for Season 3. To end on a positive note, the Golden Views nominations, if everything goes according to plan, will be announced Wednesday night, at 10 pm EST.

The 2nd Golden Views Award winner will be announced tonight at 10 pm EST!
I will come clean right away, so I have to confess that I used the same background I did for the 1st Golden Views, which means the returning nominees (Adam Beach, Josh Hartnett, Lesley Manville and so forth) will have the exact same picture. With the end of the semester around the corner, my time was limited, but I have already planned new backgrounds and brand new pictures for the 3rd Golden Views! I hope you guys don't mind and don't forget to tune tonight to see who brings home the coveted awards!

Following a handful of responses, I wanted to write about LRTV here, so you guys know what's up. The main takeaway we can have about Season 2 is that people thought there were too many shows on air… and I kind of agree with them on that point. 3 shows per day five days a week and four shows during the weekend was a hard pace to maintain for me and for our readers too. The number of shows will definitely go down for the third season, but more on that later. People also voiced their opinions about the lack of behind-the-scenes segments for LRTV. I agree that we could have tried to come up with something here and there, but the packed schedule, we didn't want to overstuff it. There's also a logical explanation as to why we didn't have more casting news and more weekly segments talking about what's coming and so forth. Out of the 17 shows on air last season, we only had 7 shows we knew what was going to happen at least a week in advance and 4 of them were written by us. We didn't want to always talk about the same shows so it would look like we were pushing them down your throats or to make it look like favoritism. I'm not complaining about anything here, just explaining why weekly segments weren't written. I could try to make some for the third season, but I would need to see further ahead than before. It also looks like you guys want to see some changes about the ratings. I get they are a little bland. We made an algorithm back in Season 1 and it looks like it's too dependent of show quality, so we'll try to tweak it a bit for the third season. Someone suggested to use the page views to give ratings, but things are pretty much evened out and the shows that almost nobody were watching (not pointing any fingers, but Hype and Human) were some of the least favored shows by the critics and they had low ratings. I see the correlation between show quality and ratings, but perhaps it was too much in its current state. Some issues were raised about the Golden Views and how there wasn't enough competition. It directly contrasts with people saying there are too many shows. We have found a solution to the that problem. I refuse to take credit for it, because it was submitted by someone in the survey We could increase the number of shows while alleviating the burden on the readers. Season 3 would be 20-weeks long, separated into blocks; the first ten weeks and the last ten weeks. We would have two shows per weekdays and only two shows during the weekend, possibly taking a day off. After ten weeks, new shows would be on schedule, replacing the other shows. In total, we would have 24 shows, an increase on the 17 we had, but it would be easier for the readers, as they would have less shows to read per day and per week. Of course, this could be a solution to our problems, but we had a hard time to fill our schedule for the last two seasons, so it would be pretty hard to do and I would need your participation more than ever. Before I go on and make these changes, I want your opinion, please answer the survey below : forms.gle/2ozowhGVJ98cw8Mt9We are now accepting pitches for LRTV Season 3. Mo Buck

Following an overwhelmingly positive response to the proposed changes, we have decided to bring back LRTV with the proposed 20-week schedule divided in two 10-week blocks. We are currently looking for a end of March-beginning of April scenario for our start date, which would give everyone plenty of time to write their shows.
We currently have 14 shows scheduled for Season 3 (8 adaptations and 6 original stories). We are looking to have 24 shows on air for the third season, so you can now pitch your shows to us as we are trying to fill the schedule.
Everyone whose show was renewed, please contact me to tell me if you'd like your show to air in the first or second half of Season 3.
Everyone who pitches a show can do the same, we'll make a mock schedule once we have enough answers.
Thanks for your input and I cant wait to see what you guys have in store for Season 3!

For anyone wondering what our schedule looks like right now for Season 3, here's a preliminary schedule I made up. As you can see there are still a lot of spot left and although the MBWA has some projects in development, we wouldn't want to completely fill the schedule with our projects. If you have a show you would like to pitch, feel free to pitch it and I'll see what I can do. (As you can see, Gauntlet and The Survivors were both renewed for a third and second season respectively, but haven't been placed on the schedule yet. First Half Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday | Friday | Saturday | Sunday | Unannounced Lon Charles Project | Unannounced Ann Morrow Thriller | Showtime | Call My Agent | Hitman | /////////// | Rolling Stone | | | Miami Vice | | | /////////// | |
Second Half Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday | Friday | Saturday | Sunday |
