Here you can post any questions, suggestions or ideas regarding the Last Resort Films Database sites.google.com/site/lrfimdb/So if you have any ideas you would like to submit to make the database more user-friendly, post them here and Mo Buck or myself will see what we can do.

Suggestion - Columns for universes like Monster Universes, DC and Marvel or Films based on books or Stephen King novelsfilms.
Sorry to post it here but suggestion for forum - Sub section for writers, where each writer has a thread for his own to give his two cents or updates or ask for suggestions.

That should be easy enough for the database. I already have it where authors with more than one adaptation - like Stephen King - have their own page, but I can definitely do that for the Monster Universe and the various comic book properties that are coming up. Great suggestion!
I will start a Writers Discussion section or thread for that.

Need any help with that all? I'd gladly do it. You give me the ratings, I'll provide bios, photos, and etc as much as I can

I noticed looking around that the film material source is out of date along with the magazine cover section. Not trying to be a B but I think that sorely needs updating.

List of Writers has been updated to include the newer writers, however not all of the stats on the page have been updated.

Apparently Google is discontinuing its Classic Sites that the LRF IMDB and will no longer be viewable come September 21. I would just convert the site over, but there between the nearly 550 films released and the thousands of talents we are WAY over the 1,000 pages allowed by the New Google Sites. I was wondering if any of you have any ideas on how we should go about maintaining the LRF IMDB for the future. Another service? Split it into a few separate sites (some for talents and some for films and just link back and forth)? I am open to suggestions.

It's going to be VERY long, slow process, but I have decided to shift the database away from Google Sites since they will only allow 1000 total pages on a site (which obviously is not enough for our purposes). Here is the new, just started domain: lrfdatabase.weebly.com/All I've done so far is start the home page and add in the Season 19 Box Office numbers (although all the links still lead to the old database for now until I've everything its own page on the new site). I'm still getting the hang of using it. Since I will need to have everything moved over by September 21st before Google Sites Classic is taken offline, expect that things my not be kept up-to-date on the old database as moving things over to the new site will be more of a priority than maintaining the old one.

The one big downside of Weebly so far is that it won't allow for a search bar (at least not with a free site - and since I do all this for free I do not want to pay $12 a month just to add a search bar). However, you will always be able to find the various talent by typing: lrfdatabase.weebly.com/firstname-lastname.html (obviously you would replace 'firstname' and 'lastname' with their actual first and last names)

While it is a major pain in the the ass to completely re-do the entire LRF Database, I have decided to take advantage of Weebly's nicer looking interface to gussy up some of the pages. For a taste: lrfdatabase.weebly.com/genre-war.htmlI have done the same for all the other genres as well. Additionally, all of the Season 1 films have been transferred over (https://lrfdatabase.weebly.com/season-1.html) - though all the links will eventually still need to be re-directed to the new database pages (but that will probably be one of the last things done since I can do that even after Google shuts down the old database).
