Thanks alextheman for the praise. Murder Mysteries is a project I had forgotten about for over a decade. It was originally a pitch I submitted back in the Crazy Moon Pictures days that I found a rough draft of on an old USB drive last year. That incarnation was very different than what was released though. In the original draft I had leaned pretty heavily into the short story's framing device (which I completely got rid of this time around) and it was less fantastic, with more of an old school film noir story (that just happened to be in Heaven). |

Can I just say tho I didn't enjoy STARMAN completely as I had some issues with the middle. However,Joe Keery as the title character was just a treasure. It felt like his usual charming self like he was when he first became The Babysitter on Stranger Things. Can't wait to see the future of the character.

It took me a while to crack Under the Influence so good to see it was well-received. It was conceived as a cross between Paul Schrader's Hardcore and the real life case of convict Larry Ray. When I cast RDJ, I thought it would be fun to see him go villainous and little did I know that it would become his whole thing of late with Oppenheimer and Harvard Psychology.

I do feel bad for Victoria Pendretti for things not working out since Tara's Web, cause that was meant to be a star-making vehicle for her. Hopefully, Tara's World will rectify this issue. |
