I had an idea for this movie

It's about a UFO which crash lands in Kansas and a local TV journalist who usually covers fluff pieces is assigned to cover the crash and she meets up with Farmer Joe who is hiding the aliens who crashed and learns of a government conspiracy that involves the UFO.
