Hello I’m thinking about making a film about the UCSB shooting. What you guys think.

It'd certainly be unique given that he was: 1.) a spree killer, 2.) from a rich Hollywood family, and 3.) embedded in the incel culture (which I'm not sure has been portrayed on film yet).
Not sure who you're thinking for the lead role but Asa Butterfield and Nick Robinson are some names that come to mind.

Ive been reading his manifesto a lot and have been fascinated by it because it’s written by a monster but it’s suprisingly well written and it you read it it’s an ambitious project if you just adapt it as it literally goes from birth to death. The first scene in the manifesto is literally set when Eliot Rodger is like 5 or 6. I’m thinking for director maybe Derek Cianfrance or Yorgos Lanthimos or Darren Aronofsky.

Btw I want to clarify even though I said the manifesto is well written he’s still an awful human being.
