If you have read the Adaptations thread you will know that I am interested in doing a Pokemon movie. I would like to inform you that it has moved to early stages of development. The movie will chronicle the journey of Ash Ketchum from the cartoon series but this thread is not to talk about that movie.
After some interactions with Admin, Admin has given me a go to put another movie in the world of Pokemon in the early stages of development.
I believe 50% of the members of LRF Studio to be a fan of the either Pokemon game or cartoon. So in this movie, I thought instead of using preexisting characters we can use characters created by the members of LRF. It's a chance to be a character in the Pokemon World. You can either be
- A Pokemon Gym Trainer. Ex Sabrina
- A companion of protagonist. Ex Brock and Misty
- A Rival of protagonist. Ex Gary Oak
- A member of evil gang. Ex Team Rocket
- A Pokemon Professor. Ex Professor Oak
- Many more things.
If you decide to join this adventure, you may get to select the Pokemon's your character will use, suggest the actor you want to play your character(Might be vetoed), Maybe choose a subplot.
At the moment, the protagonist could be a character created by me but if you want you can build a strong case why your character should be the protagonist to change our mind.
Everybody is invited to participate.
Some limitations.
- If we get a lot of characters as Gym leaders, maybe some of them won't be seen in the first movie and be seen in future movies if the first film is a success.
- You will get the choice to select as many Pokemon as you like for your character but if your character becomes one of the main character, The initial Pokemon in your party will be reduced but will be gradually added as the story progress to show growth.(You might get the chance to show how you catch him.)
- Ultra and Legendary Pokemon will be out of the choice of Pokemon you choose.
