So I'm planning on making a movie after the Las Vegas Golden Knights hockey team I was thinking should I try and make it like Moneyball where the detail behind it or should play it the normal way that all these play

As a hockey fan, there's no way you can do as good of a traditional hockey movie as Slapshot (or even Goon for that matter). A more interesting approach (in my opinion), and even more specific than the Moneyball approach, would be to just focus on the Vegas Golden Knights' lead up to the expansion draft (and the expansion draft itself) since McPhee did a lot of wheeling and dealing in that expansion draft (getting a lot of good players and picks by promising to not take certain unprotected players). It could be the movie that Draft Day should have been (before Ivan Reitman butchered the script).

Ok true so treaty help me write an actual script for this? Because I don't want to do a "Quest for the cup" {a short story*{ kind of adoption I want to do a real life kind of sport adaption that I don't think anyone has ever seen before
