Since there is a separate thread already for the Marvel Universe, I figured I would make one for the DC Comics Universe as well. The same casting rules apply for DC projects as with Marvel - If an actor is already currently in an established DC/Marvel franchise (or very known for the role), they will most likely be denied for the role. Look for the more obscure ones. For example I hadn’t heard of red wolf for marvel and showed him off to Dwight it was my favourite film to write so far

I am working on a list with Admin of which (moderately) well-known characters are available (including ones that have appeared in previous LRF films that would be available for spin-offs). I've been super busy lately so that has slowed down my ability to work on that, but hopefully we'll have something on this thread (probably added to the opening post) relatively soon (spin-offs are okay, but Admin has made it clear that no LRF DC/Marvel franchise can be completely rebooted unless something crazy were to happen). There are also a some DC characters/franchises that I've previously done films for that someone else could take the reins of (these characters would also be included on the list I'm working on).

Jimmy already answered your question, but I figured I'd mention that LRF has been running strong for almost 5 years now (the first post was November 3, 2017) so obviously a lot of things have already been adapted. One easy way to check on something like that - specifically with DC or Marvel characters - is to go to the series page on the LRF Database. The Sheet at the top of each page will list every single character that has appeared more than once.
Additionally, it you have DC-specific questions, you can always ask myself or APJ ( apj). And for any Marvel-specific questions you can ask myself, Dwight Gallo ( dgallo) or Mark Newton ( newton). |

Similar to the decision Mark Newton had to make regarding the future of his version of the Hulk, I have decided that given my time commitments and other stories I want to prioritize over it, I have made the difficult choice of offering up the writing duties for a Supergirl sequel to any interested parties. I think after the success of the first film, the Chloe Grace Moretz's Supergirl deserves another film, but I don't see myself getting around to it any time soon. If you're interested in taking over the character, feel free to shoot me a message with your ideas. I had a couple possible (rough) ideas that I'd be willing to share as well to those interested in possibly writing a Supergirl sequel.

Established DC properties available for other writers: The Atom (Sam Rockwell) - Appeared in Hawkworld Catwoman (Tatiana Maslany) - Appeared in Batman: Caped Crusader, Batman: Arkham, Batman: In the Shadows & Birds of Prey Supergirl (Chloe Grace Moretz) - Appeared in Superman: Last Son of Krypton & Supergirl Hawkman (Taylor Kitsch) & Hawkgirl (Jessica Biel) - Appeared in Hawkman, Justice League International, Hawkworld & Justice League Unlimited Lobo (Vin Diesel) - Appeared in Superman: Last Son of Krypton I also occasionally see people unsure of what well-known characters/properties are still available to use, so I'm starting to work on a list with Admin of those as well.
