Next season I really think Theater Kids is a movie you should cover. I understand the reception and I'm not going to be a dick about critical reception and I love critics.
But I think Theater Kids has had fans. Meirad Tako, Sherman Pearson and Giovanni Garcia(privately to me) have liked the film even though the critical reception wasn't great.
No hard feelings if you don't cover it but I think your mind will change on it.

I'm flattered by the new grade from Mr. Stockton, didn't ever come to my mind that mr. Stockton will re-grade it with a better grade🙂

Meirad is the most inventive and creative writer at LRF. I’m glad he’s getting recognized more. Real is Better was one of my first LRF films I ever saw.
Also inventive and creative doesn’t necessarily mean best. That honor goes to Chad Taylor and John Malone.

Can the Cape get a review with the statement how Ryan Hurst is supposed to get hate and how the flashbacks shaped the overall story that happened. Also how it's about Ryan's character's demented mind.
Also how it's supposed to be dark?

A. Films from Season 15 are far too recent to even be considered for A Second Look.
B. Looking at it briefly right now, I don't think you would like any new opinions on it. The lead is still immensely unlikable (and Ryan Hurst, while a good actor, lacks the natural charisma to make him relatable). We all know it's supposed to be dark and that the main character is sick in the head, but the problem is that if you're going to have a villainous/evil lead character, we as an audience at least need to understand why he is doing what he is doing (or at least what their reasoning is - and it has to make sense, even if just to them). I didn't get that with The Cape. He was killing people over petty grievances (and not in any kind of entertaining fashion, which also could have helped matters a bit). What you needed was a lead we loved to hate, not just hated.

I'd like to submit the only three good movies I've made, Dark Places, Alex + Ada, & The Queen of the Night for Second Look. If that's okay, IK you probably have a ton of submissions at this point

Some early season ideas: Nocturne, Star Trek: Enterprise, Animus (especially given the Nichols context)

I thought it would be harmless fun but again I guess like Critic Jeff Stockton always likes to say, I was wrong

Some films I'm going to like more in a second look, some I'm going to like less, and some I'm going to like about the same. There are only three possibilities. And I didn't say I dislike YOU, but that up to that point I had not enjoyed the bulk of your films (which only consisted of 5 films prior to Alex + Ada - namely films like Looking for Alaska and Eleanor & Park).

I get that. I just don't wanna have anymore because it's not helping my mental state rn trying to get better.

I didn't mean to start anything really. I just woke up to this and it put me in an awful mood for awhile. Luckily, I had someone talk sense into me and got me to stop seeing red. I would like to see what you'd say about Dark Places or Unknown because I really felt like myself when I wrote Dark Places and Unknown because rereading it, I noticed a huge problem with the end of the film that I would sell my soul to fix. I aimed to be like Black Swan or David Lynch instead of myself and that was a mistake

I would love to see Theater Kids in the second look. I think Stockton would like it more.
