Legally speaking, HG, you cannot bar Whedon from his profits earned (current or future) through his contracts for the first two films. He has been dropped as director for understandable reasons, but he would still be entitled to future profits from past films (not that there are any in LRF, but if this was real life he'd still be getting his residual money for those first two Maximum Ride films).

Finally... I got Firestorm done!!!
This was a year in the making and I gotta say it won't be top notche DCU film but I think it's enjoyable enough for a fun movie for a character I always thought deserves his time in the sun.
Now be warned, you'll probably need to rewatch Vixen cause it continues from it quite a bit. It reminds you where these characters are pick up from.
I wanna thank APJ for his help that helped me focus on what's needed and to Jimmy Ellis for being patient with me. I always kept going back to it and re-edit it and kept taking out and adding thing in and out. I think mostly the characters develop but I'm sure there'll be problems for people.
Can't wait to see what y'all think. Peace and love to y'all. Stay safe...

Well, every nightmare I had for Firestorm came true and Idk how to bounce back from this one as I'll go down in the history books as the first writer with a BO bomb in the DCU.
I think it's time to accept the facts I don't fit/belong in here. I can't seem to get out of this rut and I don't wanna do this anymore if all I do is gonna be crap.
I'm thinking I'm done. I've wasted everyone's time enough as it is. Thanks for putting up with me this long.

I don't mean to sound like a jerk or anything, but were you really expecting a billion dollar hit with Firestorm? - The film is nearly 3 hours long in LRF run time. - The film has no bankable stars (Mark Rylance and Jimmy Tatro aren't exactly big names, and aren't particularly 'on-the-rise' actors). - The film lacks action set pieces. - The film lacks well-known characters. - The film makes no sense if you haven't watched Vixen, which wasn't particularly well-received either (I have noticed a bit of a trend in LRF where sequels to poorly-reviewed films gross a lot less than their predecessor - Metal Gear Solid and Peter and the Shadow Thieves come to mind). - The film has way too many characters to keep track of (I agree with the review stating that it felt like Firestorm played second fiddle to all the other characters being constantly introduced). - Two films in and I don't feel I know much about Firestorm.
I'd be more surprised if it actually made money with all those factors working against it (which out-weighs the factors like being part of the DC Comics Universe that it has working in its favor).
If you are quitting, good luck with everything. If not, learn from the misfire and use it as fuel to improve (I personally feel like I learned the a lot from my LRF failures).

Hearing that outloud, I see how I failed but Idk how to fix what I'm doing. It feels like I'm lost and question why I'm still here. I tried my best to make it all fit but it blew up in my face now I'm in a rut Idk how to get out of.

My advice would be to tackle something simple. I feel that, like Firestorm, a lot of your films have been unnecessarily convoluted. Find something simple and easy to follow for the audience with fewer characters.

So something simple? Okay I guess I could do that. WHat would you say overall makes my films convoluted cause I REALLY have been trying to fix that but it backfires.
