I want to tease my masterpiece Watch Hill and I'm going to announce the cast of the film and director. I will not say the characters they play. That will remain a mystery til In Development.

Ross Lynch
Also a brief plot summary
The film is about a family. The father is a novelist who is addicted to sex and drugs, the daughter is a quiet girl and the mother is a fashion designer. When they move to Watch Hill Rhode Island things that threaten their marriage and the daughter's relationship to her father.
Im curious what everyone thinks.
Also it's like a thriller version of The Squid and The Whale or American Beauty.

also the Columbine movie sucks. A lot of what i was initially basing the film on were myths like bullying and Eric's homosexuality. Then I cut the bullying part and the homosexuality part. There was a gay kiss that I cut. Also the film implies that Dylan did it because of his crush on Rachel Scott. It;s a really bad film. Not William Hung Story bad but definitely bad. There is just so many rumors and lies about Columbine that make you think that it's an interesting story but then you find out they are false.

You've submitted five versions of it with only slight changes each time. Personally, I would say it is bad form to trash one of your own movies before it even comes out. It would be a lot more professional and reasonable to explain stuff after the fact, rather than trashing it beforehand.

There are things I do like about it. I am proud of the casting. I like Harmony Korine directing. I do actually like the middle of the film.

Based on the logline, Bad Dreams Come True sounds like an old-school 80s/90s thriller. Looking forward to that one.

Don't have too many expectations Chad, the film was also close to cancellation. Instead I'm waiting for Recursion and especially Lock Every door  . Also, I have the impression that Lowell will be one of the best films of the season.

I was confused to see "Lowell will be one of best film" cause i haven't seen it yet (cause it hasn't been released yet) but after read who wrote the script, now i'm convinced that it might be kne of the best.

I used pink as a reference to the book's title color. The photo is used that way for dramatic effect wasn't really what I was going for but oh well. I think it turned out nice. I wanted Dakota in it but it'd ruin the whole thing. |
