So Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II is over. I was wondering what are the restraints to making future films. What can be touched and what is off limits?

Films based on the Star Wars galaxy will be handled on a case by case basis. One thing that will be definitive is that we will not produce any films that go along with what Disney is doing, so any potential film cannot be directly connected to Disney's Star Wars trilogy or The Mandalorian television series. Hey does anyone wanna do an idea completely original I came up with after the last film?
I wanna do a different section of the galaxy where the hero's are not super powered stopping an empire. It'll be focused on character development.
