Damn I really want Pulp to win but Stockton says it won’t. Pulp was by far my favorite film of last season.

*GRA spoilers*
I've got to say, that has to be one of the most exciting GRA ceremonies that I can remember. Namor going 3-for-3 to start off with and then King of Hearts and Glass Menagerie trading shots until the final category - leaving it to be one of the most exciting Best Picture reveals I can remember (but maybe that's because I had a rooting interest!). Congrats to all fellow winners and nominees and especially Rooney Mara, who was in one of my first films and an actress I admire.

My Predictions are here, as always these will definitely change at the end of the season. Some weaker categories (all of them the ability to be bumped fromnoms) so far include, both supporting actress and lead actress and some open for the winner including Best Actor (could see it going 3 ways already) and Supporting Actor (can see any of those 5 walking away with it.)
Best Adaptation:
Winner: The Punisher (Dwight Gallo) Nominees: Lock Every Door (Rene Menzie), The Black Cat (Chad Taylor), Recursion (Wesley Campbell)
Best Original Story:
Winner: Lowell (John Malone & Jimmy Ellis) Nominees: Worried Mind (Chad Taylor), Attraction/Deception (Meirad Tako), Bad Dreams Come True (Billy Cruder)
Best Supporting Actress: (Weak Category)
Winner: Jessie Buckley (Lowell) Nominees: Rosamund Pike (Lock Every Door), Emily Alyn Lind? (The Youngest Hart), January Jones? (Lowell)
Best Supporting Actor:
Winner: Matt Damon (Lowell) Nominees: Andrew Garfield (Worried Mind), Shea Wigham (The Punisher), Adam Driver (Lowell) or Paul Walter Hauser (Lock Every Door)
Best Actress: (Weakish Category)
Winner: Dakota Johnson (Lock Every Door) Nominees: Lily James (Worried Mind) (Could go Support?), Elisabeth Moss (Bad Dreams Come True), Jodie Foster (The Punisher) (Could be Support)?
Best Actor:
Winner: Mel Gibson (The Punisher) Nominees: Robert Pattinson (Worried Mind), Ben Affleck (Lowell), Sam Heughan (Lock Every Door)
Best Director
Winner: S. Craig Zahler (The Punisher) Nominees: Ben Affleck (Lowell), Debra Granik (Lock Every Door), Andrew Haigh (Worried Mind)
Best Picture
Winner: The Punisher or Lowell Nominees: The Punisher or Lowell, Worried Mind, Lock Every Door
Of the films announced post Season 5, I have two, Drawing Dion and Tumor. I am hoping for good reviews but that is a hope. I'm not sure how they will go award wise. However John Malone and Chad Taylor's Caesar I think has a chance at a majority of these categories. Of what has been announced I can see DiCaprio, Crowe, maybe Irons getting noms, along with Thurman and maybe even DeJonge depending on how large her role is. In other films performance wise I can definitely see Mark Wahlberg and Caleb Landry Jones if the film is well received and if it is well received I believe Salma Hayek could be close to a lock. And with more females popping up in films like Sleeping Beauties (Moss & Waterston) and Fear of the Dark I could always see them popping up here.
Thankyou and let me know what your predictions are

Kaitlyn Dever in my film Watch Hill I think has a real shot at a nomination for Best Actress and Rockwell for Best Supporting Actor. Maybe also Soderbergh for Director, Best Picture and Original Story. I’m really proud of it.

Speaking of awards, every one can expect the seasonal "for your consideration" messages this weekend. Please be sure to respond as soon as you can as I cannot begin the very time consuming process of making the nominations poll without everyone's choices.
