It's that time of the season again where I offer up my award predictions. I have to say that this half of the season has been a bit disappointing awards wise, with The King of hearts the early front runner for a lot of awards. A lot of the awards have fillers in the nominees as I just couldn't find anyone more suitable. Again these are my own opinions and it all can change down the line, hope you enjoy reading these.

You really think Suburban has a shot? As of right now? Yes Do I think It will stay in all these categories? No We are only half way through, 15 films to go and the awards race is weak so far. Suburban could scrape in to one or two.

I thought my bad casting choice for Colin Firth fucked me up

Again as i said i don't think they will stay, I think one that will stay in my predictions will be Todd Field for director.

I'm also hoping that there are more female led films in the second half of this season

I think strong women will be there in the second half of the season I saw in the cast the names of Michelle Williams, Bryce Dallas Howard, Elle Fanning an example . They are a good:) Also I hope for a good performance by Lily Collins.

There are a few more female-led films on the release slate, but if I had to guess, this will be one of those seasons where there are some surprise nominations for Best Actress due to a relatively weak overall field in the category.

I’m actually really excited. I think Elle Fanning for my film High School has a good chance for Best Actress.

I think though King of Hearts will get some serious awards this year. Best Supporting Actor will easily go to Tom Hanks. I’m betting on that. Best Original Story I think. Pulp I think should get nominated for a lot because I loved Pulp. But yah I think that will get Best Original Story nomination. So Pulp and King of Hearts I think are locks for Best Original story.

None of those possibilities would surprise me. The Supporting categories seem like a complete toss-up outside of Sarandon and Hanks.
