Once again want to say how much I love the added commentary as it traces the different narratives over the course of the ceremony. Congrats to all winners!

It definitely added to the roller coaster-effect of this season's awards, that's for sure.

MY REACTIONS -
Best Production Design - Predictable Best Soundtrack - IMO it came down to both Gallo penned scripts and I think the best soundtrack won Most Wanted Sequel - The Punisher was my favourite to win this and it did, next best best was Caesar - interesting to see THE NUMBERS Best Ensemble Cast - A strong category I am honoured to share this award with Malone for a third season in a row - hopefully more to come Best Starring Couple - Another strong category - Landry Jones and Wahlberg were definitely deserving of the award, however I was surprised when their name was read out. Best Villain - She played Griselda Blanco really well and a well deserved award. I'm glad her and Jodie split the awards and one didn't walk away with both. Best Adaptation - My favourite was The Punisher but i'm glad the other Gallo film picked it up Best Original - Again Predictable Caesar was the favourite as soon as it released Best Supporting Actress - After reading Hayek's name in Best Villain I thought this award was hers but I am glad that Foster got the love she deserves for her role in The Punisher. Best Supporting Actor - Talk about an upset, wow. Up against 4 time LRF winner Russell Crowe, 2 time GRA winner Jeremy Irons and 2 time winner Matt Damon, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo came from out of nowhere. Maybe split votes cost it for the Caesar duo, but a deserving win nonetheless, probably my favourite performance all season. Best Actress - Weak Category, I thought Sadie Sink was in with a chance but Dakota Johnson seemed to be the favourites of many, so her win was somewhat predictable Best Actor - He was the favourite but I was thinking one of the other three could sneak in there and steal it from him, however it was not to be, can Leo be stopped? Best Director & Picture - Caesar, teh favourites in both categories ran away with it, it was somewhat expected

All of the Season 19 GRA messages have been sent out. Please reply with your choices as soon as you can. With all the work I have to do on the database, it is most likely going to take me longer to complete the nominations poll (which is also why I sent the messages out a little earlier than usual).

Please respond to your Season 19 GRA messages by Monday or Tuesday at the latest. If I don't have answers from you by then, the studio will make the selections for you.

I wanted to announce that this season will feature an official studio-sponsored GRA Predictions contest. As soon as the nominees are announced (should be June 29 or 30), you will have 24 hours to submit your predictions to me. The first place winner will get to choose a custom header image for their writer page on the new database page (still from your favorite movie, picture of your hometown, etc.). I'll mention this again a few more times leading up to the GRA season, but decided I'd mention it now so you all can start thinking about it.

With all of Season 19's films now released, I figured now would be a good time to remind everyone of this season's GRA predictions contest... The nominations poll will drop Sunday 12 PM MST, with the official nominations announced Tuesday 12 PM MST. You will then have EXACTLY 48 hours to submit your predictions in a message to me with the subject line SEASON 19 GRA CONTEST (so all submissions MUST be submitted by 12 PM MST on Thursday July 2). You must predict a winner in all 14 categories. The winner of the contest will get to choose a custom header for their writer page on the new LRF database (still from your favorite movies, picture of hometown, etc.).

Looking at the possible choices, I must say this one of the stronger field of candidates for Best Actress in some time. It's nice to see. Best Supporting Actor is even more stacked than usual (and it already tends to be a strong category).

Best Supporting Actor is even more stacked than usual (and it already tends to be a strong category). I had the thought when voting for Supporting Actor that you could split that list in half alphabetically and find five (or more!) worthy candidates on both halves. Crazy. Agreed that it’s great to see Actress stacked as well.
