I always love how Election’s characters are either stupid or morally wrong.

I wanted Ben to be like a Tammy Metzler from Election.

Lol never good to read your movies is one of the most expensive.
It was only mentioned due to the lack of big budget movies in recent seasons (last season only had five films with a budget of more than $100 million, as does this season).

Got what you are saying, I was just jesting acknowledging the pressure.

Good luck with Scrappy. This season has yielded some less than stellar results for what should have been box office bangers. I thought Scrappy based on the title would have been about Scrappy Doo lol. And Caillou? that nasty little brat from a PBS preschool show gets his name put in a film? Maybe it's a normal name somewhere, but thats how I associate the name and countless parents join me in a collective groan when they hear that name lol.
Despite those little dinks, I do wish for a positive box office outcome!

I assure you the caribou only got that name because it sounded good with the animal, but it's perfectly understandable to feel this way given the reputation that show has. Unfortunately, I am not educated enough on the Scooby Doo lore to truly do that story justice. If someone out there's really into the franchise and wants to try their hand at a Scrappy Doo tell all film, have at it! Nothing's off-limits here! Really, it got the name because I couldn't think of anything else that sounded marketable (and trust me, I had a time trying to find a good name for this one) It'd be really funny if Scrappy ended up bombing at the box office, even with a star-studded voice cast and a simple enough story that kids can get behind, but honestly, I'm feeling pretty good about this film. I think Dwayne and Kevin teaming up alone is going to drag people to the theatres to see what they've gotten up to this time, while kids may be begging their parents to see the funny animal movie. I think this'll work out in our favor.

The results are irrelevant today. As happy as I am to see this film find success, I'm even happier knowing that James Earl Jones (rest in piece) was involved.

Scrappy is one of the most disliked characters in both Scooby Doo and Hanna Barbara fandoms lol, so much so he became a villain in the live action movie(don't boo me and cry about spoilers that was 22 years ago, anyone who wanted to see it saw it already lol) A Scrappy redemption film would actually be kind of perfect haha.

I woke up with a shock of happiness to see Sherman list "Calvin and Hobbs" as #6 on his alltime animated animal film lists. Even the scriptwriter has stated a few times that he wishes he could have done a lot more different to make it good. I wanted lightning to strike twice with that animated Peanuts film that came out about 10 years ago(which I had a good time watching) I even remember C&H being up for wanted sequel. Maybe we'll see...if there's a story to tell and develop with a sequel, we'll see..

TBQH, I liked when it was called "We Need to Talk About Kevin" both the film and the book in that case lol. I think our fellow screenwriter wants to stay too loyal to source material for adaptations. There's a reason JAWS was different from the book lol. Baby Teeth was a confused mess of a book and this one could have helped make more sense of it.
