Inspired by a comment made by Chad Taylor, Last Resort Films will now feature an honorary Achievement Award every five seasons to award a talent that has had a huge impact on the studio. The first award will be given out at next season's Golden Reel Awards. If you would like to nominate an actor/actress or director (later on we can add in writers) please reply below with the choice and the reasoning behind your nomination. I will then take all the nominations into account and determine the recipient.

That seems like a great idea.
First I'd like to nominate Brie Larson for her 2 Golden Reel awards for Best Actress and three total nominations. I believe she's one of the best leading ladies involved in Last Resort Films projects and I'm not saying this just because she worked on three of my films. She's one of the rare leading ladies for the studio and in a world where females are taking more place in Hollywood year after year, I think it would be great to award a female the biggest award.
I'd also like to nominate Tom Cruise for the award. He doesn't have the awards recognition, but the numbers don't lie, he's the undisputed king of the Box Office. The Splinter Cell franchise and Alan Wake were huge hits thanks in large part to Cruise's star power. In a world where money means everything, Tom Cruise is Last Resort Films' cash cow.
Oscar Isaac is another that comes to mind. He's been in a record six movies for the studio. He's the face of the Monster Universe as the Count Dracula and has one Golden Reel nomination. For these reasons, I think he should get awarded this award.
Two other actors who could also get some recognition are Michael Shannon and Bryan Cranston. Both are regular actors of Last Resort Films productions and they both deliver constantly good performances and they both are associated with prestige projects. This is why either of them should win the award.

@meriadtako, What is your reasoning? The award determination will be largely based on arguments made in favor of the candidate.

As I said in the chat, Cruise would be the first name I'd put forward. In a time when every thing seems like a box office gamble, Tom Cruise has been the one sure bet we've had. Even though he's only done three films thus far, two of those are the highest grossers and the third (Alan Wake) is in the top 10 - proof that it is more than just the "Splinter Cell" brand. As Mo said, it's all about the Tom Cruise brand.

No need to nominate anyone this season, right?

Nope, it will just be every five seasons for now (that way it's a bigger deal).

Now that the studio is about to enter its 10th season, we will once again be accepting nominations for the Golden Reel of Achievement Award (Tom Cruise won the first award back in Season 5).

I would like to nominate Tom Hardy, he has won 2 Best Actor awards and Best Ensemble, he also has a further 4 nominations. He has appeared in 10 films which is equal at the top of most films.

One name I put forward is Tom Hardy.
A main star in multiple blockbusters (God of War, Numero Uno, Without Remorse). A regular in the successful Mass Effect series. Two of the most memorable performances in the studio's history with Crowley and G.G. He's starred in TWO Best Picture winners, including the #1 movie in LRF's history. AND at least the weakest parts of his filmography still made the studio a healthy amount of money. He has to have the most complete resume of any actor for the studio.

I agree with Tom Hardy but I would like to put up Brie Larson into consideration, before she was eclipsed by Tom Cruise.

I think Brie Larson should win. She's the only actresses to win Best Actress twice, the first to win back to back and to win a second. That's a helluva bar to set.
