Congratulations on the article. Here in Italy Al Jankovic is little known. I met him a few years ago in an episode of How i met your mother in which he was mentioned.

Do keep in mind that a Metacritic score of 56 really shouldn't be taken as a critical flop. That score roughly translates to an average grade of C+ between the three reviews, so certainly not a disaster there. As far as the box office goes, The Youngest Hart ended up being a weird anomaly as a drama that did better overseas than domestically, but unfortunately studios make a lower percentage of the box office from non-US theaters (if the domestic and foreign box office numbers had been flipped, the film would have made money).

I’d like to apologize to everyone for the blog post I made yesterday. It was the product of a sleep-deprived Jacob venting out apparently months of frustration. Frustration that wasn’t even warranted as Admin pointed out. The way I acted was shocking and out-of-character to who I usually am and I promise it will not happen again.
I’d also like to thank Admin for helping set me straight. Reading that was what I needed and I do feel better about myself.
I’ll be taking some time to myself today so I likely won’t be available for much if the day, so just know that I am sorry and I promise to be better.

I’ve decided not to go ahead with the second blog post but I will at least give you my thoughts on H.G Hansen’s firing of Joss Whedon. I applaud him for making such a bold decision, especially given how toxic Joss has proven to be and speaking for myself, I will also have nothing to do with Mr. Whedon. His actions are simply inexcusable and do not promote a safe work environment for actors.
That’s all I have to say at this time, hope everyone is having/has had a good day!

I think the pegasus angle was a bit over-explained (I think the explanation of Khumba's genetic background and such was a unnecessary and complicated things), but I also Khumba the Flying Zebra hits enough of the right notes to be a hit at the box office.

That's fair! It did get touched on a bit too much given the film's target audience, but like you said, it's the kind of movie that does the little things right long enough and hopefully should be successful in the box office.

I’ll make a blog post tomorrow, but I want to say this much. This is quite possibly the biggest high I’ve ever felt since entering the studio. The fact E.P did this well with critics is a miracle and I think it’s a sign of great things to come.

So I had planned to post something regarding Life with Barney, but I ultimately decided not to seeing as the reception to the show was better than I expected. Even as I wasn’t happy with how it came out, it is relieving knowing that there were people who understood and respected the intent. Instead, you get the first of a three part series. That’s right, I’m revisiting my ranking list! jacobslrfblog.blogspot.com/2022/11/ranking-every-film-ive-written-for.html?m=1Also, keep an eye out because I might be posting something else later today. I won’t say on what, but it’s very topical here on LRF recently.
