Hey I have like writers block it’s hard to finish projects for instance. I’ve been rewriting stuff I already wrote successfully but yah new projects like I’ll write 2 or 3 paragraphs and I’ll get intimidated

I would recommend outlining your films before you sit down to write them - that way you know what needs to be written and if one part is giving you trouble you can move on to a different scene without tripping yourself up.

This has helped me a lot. Working on Elysian with John he told me to do this with all my films and it has really helped me with the finished product.

As many as it takes. I will outline every single separate scene (with each bullet point becoming 1-2 paragraphs). Elysian only had 13, but a lot of my projects come closer to 30 beats.
