Hey may I ask if anyone would be open to assisting me with a project I've been working on. I have the start and the end but I'm having difficulty finding the right direction for the middle.
What would you guys suggest?

I think it’s time for a new Diary Of A Wimpy Kid but R rated. Maybe have Alexander Payne or Edgar Wright direct.

The hard part is finding middle school actors.

I’m thinking of making it more morally ambiguous I think the idea of making it about a middle schooler desperate for popularity which is at the heart of the first book and movie.

I’ve been working on a story inspired by my recent viewings of both dune movies. Jimmy is quite busy at the moment and I wrote this film sort of in like episodes and was wondering if someone could take a look and give me feedback?

With the release of Amazon's Fallout TV series, it reminded me that I had been prepping a Fallout film for LRF as early as Season 9 or 10 (2019). I never got too far with the idea as it was hard to distill the world and its characters into just one movie. My basic concept was about a Vault dweller (first choice for the lead role was Billy Magnussen following the first couple Booster Gold films) who has lived a comfortable life in his home vault as the son of the Overseer. The Vault Dweller would then be forced to leave his vault to track down his father after he mysteriously vanishes, with all signs pointing to him escaping the Vault and going out to the surface. I planned on the Vault Dweller forming a party with a Ghoul, a Super Mutant, a female human and a Mister Handy robot. I admittedly didn't get super far on the project as I initially had trouble deciding on a villain or villainous group for the story, though I was leaning toward the having the Brotherhood of Steel having kidnapped and forced the father to build a new bomb for them to reset society once again so they can oversee the rebuild. I didn't get too much further than those ideas though when the TV series was announced in July 2020.

Keep in mind I never played the game nor have I seen the show

Honestly, that sounds better than the Amazon series to me. I haven't finished the series, but I think the character work is not great. I usually love Walton Goggins, but the flashback sequences featuring his character have been especially boring to me, and the Brotherhood of Steel dude is even worse. I found a way to do Bond and Superman, so maybe you can figure out a way to do Fallout (and do it better).

I’m thinking about doing a new film adaptation of Doubt. I love the play and film so much. I’ve been thinking about ways to update it into modern times so it’s not just the same again with a new cast. I know I want Billy Crudup as Father Flynn.

Dude can't you choose something that hasn't been adapted already or do something new while having the same story/themes?

I don't really see the value in adapting Doubt when it was a film so recently. That would be like remaking Avatar already to me (not that I'm a big Avatar fan or anything, but it would definitely feel too recent to me). It's not like it is an IP that has wiggle room. Doubt is set in 1964 for very specific reasons that are pretty crucial to the story and characters, so changing the time period would only hurt the story's impact and importance. If you want something set in the church, there are tons of other stories - both true and fictional - that could be mined for material that hasn't been seen before (or at least so recently). If adapting a play is what you want - same thing - there are a ton that have never been adapted into a film that probably deserve it and plenty more that have before but not within the last 15 years that could be ripe for a new adaptation.
