I'm thinking of doing an reimagining buy still true to nature remake of RoboCop. Idk if I should do the same names from the first film. What does anyone think of the idea?

Hey what you think about an R Kelly movieS For obvious reasons, it would be very unlikely that the studio would be interested in producing any films about R. Kelly at this time.

My other idea is to do a Donald Trump film hopefully directed by Scorsese.

I think this could be definitely be done, given that a lot of thematic elements are as relevant now as they were then. However, it was just remade in 2014 (I believe it was a straight remake, never saw it), so I think you would have to bring something new to the table to merit reviving the franchise.

Just my opinion, but I'd have a hard time picturing Scorsese wanting to make a Trump film. Generally speaking, a filmmaker usually has at least a vague interest or respect for their subjects (which does not appear to be the case with MOST of Hollywood and Trump).

Yeah, the remake was fairly straight forward - and without all of the fun satire and interesting villains of the original (there were some bland attempts with Samuel L. Jackson's character, but none of it landed). I think another remake would really need to take the material into a new direction both from the original and the remake, if you ask me.

Yea I had it in a different direction like it's almost a mystery and most of it would be able a sister turning her brother into RoboCop and helps him figure out what happened. It'll have a lot to say about trademarks, corporations, and corruption in justice while keeping the satire from the first movie.

While Casey Jones definitely should be a major player in a TMNT film, I feel like telling the entire story from his point of view would be a bit of a disservice to the turtles themselves. It's one thing for the turtles to be introduced through him meeting them, it's another for him to be the primary protagonist (it's the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles after all, not The Casey Jones Story).

Paramount doesn't appear to have much in the way of set plans for the franchise since Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows under-performed (I think they're planning on another reboot), so the studio would be willing to entertain a TMNT pitch.
