I think Tilda Swinton would be outstanding if she were to play Ziggy stardust
That would depend on the interpretation of the material. While some believe that Ziggy and his band are from outer space, others believe that the songs suggest that Ziggy and his band are from Earth and are just starting to get famous when it is announced that Earth is down to its last "5 Years". As talented as Swinton may be, I think going female with the role would be distracting and gimmicky (much like Cate Blanchett in I'm Not There - something I did not enjoy). Since the songs of the album don't necessarily tell a full linear story (and some were written prior to the concept of the album), the story could go just about any where. About the only sure things are a rock star, a band, and the five years left of Earth.

Yeah that is very true

To be honest, seeing you guys. discussing about my Ziggy idea, i'm scared, i'm so afraid that the end product of the pitch i wrote can't live the expectation.

You just had a success with Hotel California so ride the hot hand and make the film you want to make, other people be damned.

I wouldn't say there are expectations really (high or otherwise) since the material is vague enough to be whatever you want it to be. And like Chad mentioned, you just had a success with a music inspired film, so you might as well just follow those same instincts.

So this is an interesting idea I had in mind for a future season, telling the story of a South African bounty hunter who has been sheltered his whole life by his caretaker after the murder of his parents. Kruger (the hunter in question) is paranoid about others given how poorly he was treated before losing his family. One day he reunites with his best friend Samuel and the two start hanging out. Eventually he has to make a decision between him and his caretaker. Along the way he meets a traveller named Percy and he manages to help him open up.
Oh, and M. Night Shyamalan might be directing so you know there's gonna be a twist ending.

What you guys think of a Henry Rollins biopic. He basically worked at Haegendaz and then played with Black Flag and acted and did spoken word and edited books.

Also I’m actually some paragraphs in but I’m working on a Fred Phelps movie. I was very emotionally moved by near the end of his life he visited an LGBT organization and he said they were good people. He also was a civil rights lawyer back in the 1960s then he became a hate monger from then on. I think it could be very emotionally moving. I’m thinking Clint Eastwood should star as Fred Phelps and direct the film as well.

I am no joke considered casting Tommy Wiseau in one of my films.

I’m writing a really dark and disturbing Monopoly adaptation.
